Carroll at last. Crying shame. Distin should be shot for making this happen.

After 20 missed chances, Carroll takes Liverpool through. Been a dreadful match, can't say Everton deserve anything. They've hardly created any good chances.

Also Moyes has failed. Needed to make changes earlier as the momentum completely shifted after the Suarez goal. Waiting to go behind before bringing on another forward is just lame.

Everton were awful. They deserved no more for their negative football and lack of ambition.
Tevez hat-trick. Maybe if he'd bothered to turn up and do this for the previous half a season City wouldn't be behind Man Utd.

I'd thought Everton would edge it but they were the cause of their own downfall for both goals. Shame, it would have been good to see Moyes rewarded at last. Chelsea v Spurs would be a closer contest.

That was a piss poor showing for the DPL both teams could hardly even pass a ball straight.Teams from 16th = 20th in La Liga have more technique.
Suarez man of the match if being a headless chicken and constantly running into blind alleys and losing the ball every time you receive it wins you man of the match then there is something wrong with this league. Can't stand Suarez anymore he's a brainless footballer who would get booed by his own fans in La Liga or Serie A.
Carroll played a lot better than Suarez but he gets no credit.Agger played good,Skrtel too,Gerrard was alright but apart from that everybody else was shit.Luckily for us Everton are even shitter than us.

That was much harder than it should have been against that horrible side. They contributed nothing to the game at all.

Looks to be well liked at the club judging from the warm reception from all the team and coaches when he came off..... Wenger should buy him Arsenal could really need a player that can score goals beside RVPSheffield gunner wrote:Everton were awful. I don't think we have £30m+ to spend on a complete c**t who will piss off back home whenever he feels like it.
Johnson and Aguero both hit the frame of the goal. Norwich seem to have an aversion to letting their defenders close within 5 yards of any Man City attackers.
And now Johnson does score. Again, not a defender in sight.

Moyes always seems to come up short in big games. Would frustrate the hell out of me if he managed Villa (though obviously I'd rather him than the current thing).

City were a class apart today. If only they had found this form a week or two earlier.
Tevez, Galliani must be crying for not shelling out the money... 22m were a bargain for this quality. I can't believe comments on some forums blaming Mancini for not bringing him back earlier... they should be commending him instead for bringing back Tevez after what he had done.
If City win the derby, or Man Utd slip up in any other game, things could get really interesting....

Seriously ? I know you like the man but you are taking it a bit too far here Bluey.
The ONLY reason Tevez is back at all is because Mancini has fucked up his title charge

Tevez and Aguero had an easy team to play against defensively today none the less they turned on the magic and Mancini will be happy with the pair be great if he pulls off something special at the end of the season.

You really are a cretin.
First half we were poor and so was Suarez, second half we upped our game and Suarez was brilliant. He constantly broke through on goal time and time again and took his goal really well where others would have fluffed it.
Everton bottled it second half and we took advantage. We should have had a few more goals but for poor finishing but can't complain with how we performed second half and can't complain being in another cup final.
League form has been poor but in the cups we've been fantastic and showed a lot of character.

Your brilliant footballer is my headless chicken,he's so annoying to watch because all he does is play percentages, almost every time he gets the ball he doesn't look up and tries to take on 3 players, more often than not he falls over and loses the ball it's like watching a child play. When it comes off it looks brilliant but losing the ball all the time is detrimental to the team.I thought we were meant to play "pass and move" under Kenny?
Took his goal well though.

Headless chicken is Ryan Babel or Milan Baros. Yes, sometimes Suarez does lose the ball or fall over but he works so hard and is a constant menace. It's hard to play your regular stuff at Wembley in such a tense affair against your derby rivals IMO, it was always going to be a bitty game and we made good use of Carroll in the second half.
