I love Simeone but I'm not sure the squad is up for it and especially if they beat Milan. They have already showed some signs of fatigue. But with Diego coming to the club it will certainly help.

they are some who question the value of a coach, but managers like simeone put that out the window. would honestly rather have them win the league that us. tata is just fucking shit. need the rest of the board and everything linked with rosell to get the fuck out.

I think most people will agree with Super in that it is hard to believe Atletico can keep it up but even last year they had fallen off already by this point. Diego will surely be a boost to them as well. They haven't been top of the table all by themselves since 1996, the year of their historic double.

Meanwhile in Segunda it is Deportivo topping the table. Would be great if they can return to the top flight. Lendoiro of course has stepped down after 25 years as president and has been replaced with Tino Fernandez who has the major task of sorting out the clubs finances once and for all. Still a big issue with the debt so even if they finish first they may get relegated at the end of the season. All very close from positions 4-12 in the table.

i think the arrival of diego will be huge for them, his versatility means simeone will be better able to rotate the creative players in his team without a bid drop off in quality

Diego and adra can play multiple roles including as the SS if their is an injury to Costa/Villa

given how we have been playing all season and especially the new year and how shit real are yet continue to get results, though they struggle against decent teams, which just goes to my point that they have been pure shit. I would rather Atletico win they play as a team which is more than i can say for us. no fucking synergy between midfield and attack what so ever. pisses me the fuck off
