FT 0 - 2. Not disappointed by the result - though we put out a stronger than expected team, didn't expect us to get through. However performance wasn't great - though we rallied in 2H and we didn't actively play badly, we lacked any sort of edge until Giroud came on. Bentdner was a waste of space throughout his time on the pitch, and the fact that Chelsea could bring on Ba as a late sub while we could only muster Park showed the gulf which still exists in quality of resources available. I'm beginning to get worried about Ozil - he's looked either tired or disinterested in the last few matches, losing the ball easily etc. Not too sorry we're out of the competition - our focus should be on the league first and foremost.

1. Actually, playing in numerous competitions as well as just the Premier League means we've won more plenty of games without penalties. It's what big clubs have to do, you remember right?

2. Lamela has started 4 games to date. He's obviously useless.
