Lamela (who cost less than Andy Carroll) is being ease in gently - he has the most adapting to do out of all our new boys.

Good for Gareth, no need for Madrid to panic despite Suarez screaming "look at me, look at me!".

Suarez is so desperate to get out that he's even working closely with a tap dancing Negrito to get ahead.

Saturday will be the 1st time this season Liverpool have played a big team, so calm down Lulu.
That's a bit offensive to David Moyes' merry men TS, who we beat

Just out of interest, why does Lamela have the 'most adapting' to do ? Is this just a nice little excuse ?

Moyes FC? I still retain my stance Wink

He knows nobody within the team/club, comes from a different culture and speaks no English at all. Sandro was the same when he first got here, took 6 months until we saw what he was capable of.

I keep seeing Liverpool fans bringing up Coutinho, but I would assume he has Lucas to lean on for advice etc.

Don't judge Lamela League Cup 2013-14 - Page 7 MyEmoticons-com__wanking on his performances for Tottenham this season

Judge him on the YouTube videos the Tottenham fans posted around the time he signed.

If Liverpool had spent £30m on a player who didn't hit the ground running would anyone mention it? No. He would be given time to settle, and I expect people to do the same for Lamela.

Criticism of Lamela is perfectly legitimate: football fans are knee jerk, short sighted and sensationalist, so anything else would be unacceptable.

30million for a 21year old is a lot of money, adding burden of pressure and expectation. Equally, 4 games into a career with the club is not. Depends on which way you're looking at it really.  Obviously makes sense ALL LIVERPOOL FANS should want the season to end tomorrow given they're the best team on the planet** Right now. And right now is all that counts

**excluding clubs that qualified for Europe. Or play in South America, Asia, North America, Australasia, Antarctica.

It's hard to judge Lamela based on his little game time for Spurs, Glenn is being horribly unfair as he always is, he should be looking at how badly Roma are missing him instead.

Gervinho has become the new Pele. You're right though, we should boo the Argie c**t for having the nerve to provide 2 assists in his first few games and then MISS a penalty which disappointed Jon Champion.

You should sign Remy next summer tbh, though Spurs fans probably feel they're above cheap domestic transfers these days.

Should be interesting to see what team The Chosen One picks tonight. He has to win the United fans over somehow - Dalglish knew by winning the league cup it would gloss over the humiliation of signing Carroll and Downing for 100 million. I expect United to be full strength so Giggs and Cleverly in midfield, Rooney and Kagawa up top and Fellaini in the reserves.
