Also Lloris could have been sent off in first half when aCardiff player was through on goal and Lloris possibly handled it outside the box.

How would he have made a difference - they didn't create any chances until they were 4-0 down.

If they create chances and miss you can say he would have made the difference but he would be little help to a team who can't create chances - see Man U 0-0 Chelsea and Liverpool 1-0 Man U.

I see Soldado failed again - can anyone give me a recent example of a player who is under 6ft and not especially pacey being a success as an out and out CF in EPL ?

Is he just a more expensive Mauro Boselli ?

according the the bbc website Carrick played the whole game. I didn't see him. Did he play?

Spurs were patient Cardiff defended well and had a few chances. Paulinho showed the way at the very end, that was one tough game points in the bag counts.

Dunno about Soldado (well i do as i watched the game: forced a number of good saves from the keeper today, but yes hes clearly a failure off the back of 4 games) but The black Kevin Nolan is doing pretty well so far.
