I felt most of the saves Krul made were from shots that were right at him him.Deluded F*ck wrote:Absolutely brilliant from Krul - congrats Kimmy
Remy yeah we made the wrong decision when signing a striker. Soldado isn't a Prem forward.
Deserved it for only playing 45 mins in truth - still that was probably our best 45 mins in a while.
I felt most of the saves Krul made were from shots that were right at him him too too. But you have to be in the right position to save the shots that are right at you you, otherwise they go in. He also gets up well and when he makes saves he directs the ball to safety, which is important.shazlx wrote:I felt most of the saves Krul made were from shots that were right at him him.
To be fair, majority of Kruls saves were near enough to him. And so he just parried many back into play. Should have been punished at least once for that.Deluded F*ck wrote:Absolutely brilliant from Krul - congrats Kimmy

ManC have a terrible record at the stadium of light in recent years and the away form in general has been poor.Rosicky wrote:This season is bobbins.

an on-form Adebayor? is he still even at Spurs?!shazlx wrote:I felt most of the saves Krul made were from shots that were right at him him.Deluded F*ck wrote:Absolutely brilliant from Krul - congrats Kimmy

Soldaldo isn't a top quality lone forward. If he was partnered with another CF with presence who could dominate defences, I think he would be a very reliable goal scorer.
Think he would be in the right team. Spurs will always try and play from the flanks whereas Soldado needs it played through the middle. For City or for us or Arsenal I think he'd be brilliant as you'd have Silva, Coutinho and Ozil playing those balls through for him.Jaime wrote:Ahem. As I recall there was some regular poster from the la liga thread who was pretty certain Soldado wasn't good enough for anyone with CL aspirations. Hmm....can't remember who that was...
I think he could be a great partner for either Saurez or Aguero (or Negredo) but at Arsenal he would be by himself and have the same problems he does at Spurs. We don't keep possession as well as we used to and he himself doesn't seem like he can battle against even one good CB and regularly bring the ball down and lay it off. Something that we are very dependent on.Luis wrote:Think he would be in the right team. Spurs will always try and play from the flanks whereas Soldado needs it played through the middle. Please. A city win is not the unexpected result.shazlx wrote:ManC have a terrible record at the stadium of light in recent years and the away form in general has been poor.Rosicky wrote:This season is bobbins.
If City win, that should be the unexpected result from this match.
You say shitty, I'm going to say desperate and unimaginative. Though it was better in the 2nd half today.messiah wrote:spurs just play shitty football with not much creativity and he needs alot of that behind him to be at his best.
constantly going down the flanks is not for him
When you look at the status and talent of each club, of course not. But Sunderland is very much their bogey team and they have as bad away record in the PL so far.Rosicky wrote:Please. But seriously. Fucks sake.
Every win is the highlight of the guys career, he's very excitable.Isco Benny wrote:Krul post match comments:

His performance was the highlight of his career. That's weird frankly
