Some good looking games this weekend.

The derby is a horrible game to watch; it will be scrappy, football won't be played and it's going to be quite a tight game. The international break will only make our performance even more disjointed - Sturridge is pretty much buggered thanks to Owl face, Suarez has been playing half way around the world, Enrique injured...the only options we have for left back are Cissokho, who is shite, or Sakho who would be played out of position. Good chance for Mirallas to exploit us there. I think it will be a draw but really can't call this one, both teams doing well, Everton have the home advantage so probably just favourites.

Arsenal- Saints is one for the purists to touch themselves over. Think it will be a game too far for Southampton, 3-1 Arsenal.

The 'ammers will fancy their chances at home to a struggling Chelsea side; The Special One keeps tinkering and it's no good.

City have their toughest test of the season coming up against the best team in world football. If Lamela starts then City might as well give up before the ball is kicked.

Cardiff will prove a tricky test for The Chosen One - if he passes it then I think United are well and truly back in the title race and we can stop laughing our anuses off at them.

    Then the Brummie derby!

    Football cheers

Flanagan again...I guess he's preferable to Cissokho as he can actually defend. Offers nothing going forward though. Has a tough test vs either Baines or Mirallas today.

Hope Agger and Skrtel can deal with Lukaku; I'd have preferred Sakho or Toure in there today to Skrtel.

Allen back...hope he's up to it.

Knew Sturridge wouldn't make it, fucking ridiculous playing for England.

the ref was unsighted, I don't expect the ref to give a red card for a challenge he couldn't see properly. Suarez has a reputation for hysterics so you can't blame the ref.

Everton have been the better team.

Owen doesn't get this impartiality thing while commentating does he? A ball hit the arm of an Everton player who'd been brought down by a Liverpool player and he was calling it a stonewall penalty.

Why is Wilshere starting. Starting on the right! Playing an unfit player out of position. He always does this to ruin the good thing he has. So fucking frustrating.

Its only taken 120 years, but finally merseyside derby that didn't make you want to slowly poke your eyeballs out with a blunt instrument.

Congrats scouseland. As a draw though, who will play victim? Answers on a Ken Bigley memorial postcard.
