Aguero & Negredo (Thought Jaime insisted he was average?!) destroyed us. Magic Grr

Confirms what I was fearful of in the summer - that we bought the wrong Spanish striker. If City can just get their away form above par then their home form should still be good enough to see them into the title challenge.

Aguero always seems to get underrated I feel - A more efficient Suarez without any of the cuntery.

AVB out? I always gave him the benefit of the doubt because he's young and I assumed he was "building" something and would come good, I think that may have been generous though. Maybe the Adrian Durham's of the world were right about him.

They'll have a field day over this but I still believe in him.

The 1st two goals were our own making and it just snowballed from there. In the 35 mins between the 1st couple of goals we looked good, but Soldado contributed nothing to our build up. Ah well, at least I was right on Negredo even if he is raping me.

How can a ref see Rooney kick out at someone and not give a red card? Either you didn't see it and it's no foul or you did see it and it's a red, shirley? A yellow makes no sense.

It stops him getting a retrospective ban, not that he would anyway, but the yellow works in Man U's favour.

Michael Riley may need one after this weekend: The tango kid's dismissal against Stoke, Mirallas's challenge on Suarez, Gary Barry head butting Stevie G's elbow and now Rooney mistaking Jordon Mutch's leg for the ball.

The media will blow this out of proportion after Mourinho's red-faced stampathon, but it's really not big deal. If Neil Swarbrick wants to make a name for himself then fair play to him, it's the FA's fault for creating a culture where referees who help Man Utd are fast tracked.

Personally I don't think it's a red. By the letter of the law it is a red but come on, a harmless little kick in frustration - what damage would that do to the player?

A red card should be for incidents that could potentially cause injury - like Mirallas yesterday. It's time we stopped asking for reds for gay little incidents like a little kick or putting a little finger on an opponents face.

Gerrard and Barry are BFFs. You can't book someone for elbowing their BFF. It's like when you punch your wife, technically it's wrong but society says it's ok so nothing is done.

What a disgusting week in football.

Everyone talks about Ronaldo's hat-trick in a game he should be suspended for; then Rooney and, to a lesser extent, Gerrard on Saturday show that the big name's get away with it No

Is Mirallas a big name too? Gerrard and Rooney were yellow card incidents for any player in any game. If Gerrard elbowed Barry in the face then fine but they both went up for the the ball and Gerrard left an elbow in to his back. Not acceptable and very cuntish but not a red card. Rooney had a little harmless kick in anger, it's no worse than a shove or kicking the ball away.

Gerrard's I agree is a yellow. But Rooney's is clearly a red. Its not a dangerous incident that'll hurt anyone but its the kind of thing that will start fights. Can you imagine that incident in a heated derby, or just against a hot head player? Red all day long.

I'm not interested in what it could cause, I'm interested in what it did cause which was nothing. It wasn't a violent kick, just petulant; silly behaviour that warrants a yellow card.
