Would love to avoid Mandzukic. Don't think we can handle him. The midfield will overpower us through sheer strength and athleticism just as it did Barcelona and prove my point that we are too weak in that department. If we play a 4-4-2 then we might be able to survive it more because the battle in midfield would be somewhat different.

I actually would not mind playing 4-4-2. I think we need both Isco and Di Maria in the XI. Apparently Bale is now ill so maybe we'll see Ronaldo and Benzema up front with Isco, Modric, Alonso, and Di Maria across midfield.

Also, Coentrao has to play.

The key question is whether Ancelotti risk playing Ronaldo?

He's trained ahead of the game and Carlo has said that there will be fitness test tomorrow after which he will make his decision.

If Bale is out then Ronaldo will have to play. I doubt he will dare start without any either Ronaldo or Bale.

Bale has recovered from his illness and trained today, so will most probably start tomorrow.

Well Chelsea are average and are playing for a draw here. I haven't seen much La Liga this season but I thought Atletico had been the shit? So far they are dull.

They are a marginally less progressive version of Chelsea. They score first and then just murder teams on the counter.

I think Atleti really miss Arda Turan at the moment. He has that extra bit of invention that Diego is really not providing. Schwarzer is gonna handle all of the crosses being bombarded into the box with no problem.
