Pure Progress this..though in the normal world progress football means attacking football!

Belgium are certainly a team, played together since young age, got a talented/versatile squad, can play multiple systems.

    But..

There is too much EPL in this. You cant make the play with players like Fellaini and Lukaku, you have to get lucky on the counter or chelsea-esque from a set-piece.

They should rename the stadium to the Maureenocana, after this feast of progress!

Though it would have been more fitting if this was a semi-final.

Russia led by Don Capello was the real progressive team in this game and they should have won it against a nothing team(+Hazard). Belgium is lucky they are in this group. They would have already been out in other groups.

Todo is right, this is a pure Euro/Fey hype team

Well Belgium did the business good stuff the low landers may push for world acclaim for real soon. France waking up for this World Cup could leave the South Americans seriously worried.

Only critique of Belgium is that they havent delivered in attack throughout the 90 minutes. Instead, in both their games, there have been spells of great attacking play. Deserved to win it from the last 10 minutes alone.

A nothing team? HAhaha, oh dear. You, of all people, should have loved this performance. And the goal felt exactly like I said it would be.

Just Hazard eh? Well, they have more creativity then Brazil, with de Bruyne added to it.

What is it about the name Townsend? Andros the worst pundit i've ever seen, asking him about England has been the most pointless exercise since Peru's qualifying campaign.  No

They are an awkward team with no real game plan. They are neither team progress nor team football. They are not a team.

How dont they have a gameplan? This was the most progressive performance so far this wc...but you mock them instead.

I called them a darkhorse before they went from hipster to mainstream. Hell they were underground back then.

So far..they got 6 points. Same as Argentina, same style of wins. Yet they dont get the credit. Against tougher opponenents even.
