It will be interesting how Bra7i1 will react to this game, or even more so, the crowd. And what will the weather be like?

Why does this match even has a thread : who bloody effing cares about it's outcome ?!

For the life of me I can't understand why people would think this is interesting.

It depends. Especially if it's Brazil vs. Argentina, people will care. Brazil will want to make ammends for the footballing lesson they got from the Germans, while Argentina would of course love to put salt into the wounds, the match being in Brazil and all. I don't think it's pointless to be honest.

Sometimes it has interesting consequences for the top scorer. Sometimes it is just an open game with lots of goals. Can't hardly remember a boring 3rd place game even if it doesn't count for anything.

I was joking about it,  Jaime. No one cares about 3rd place.

What if it's vs. Argentina? Still nobody cares?

I don't.

If we'd play this against Germany or Belgium, I still wouldn't watch and still wouldn't care if we lost 10-0 : It's a non-match.

If I was a manager I'd play my reserve goalies upfront and put Kuyt on goal, that's how I feel about this match.

I remember us playing for third in 1998. After losing to Brazil the way we did, I didn't care about a stupid third place. It felt so empty. The players just put in a shift and lost to Croatia. And nobody gave a shit.

I didn't even watch that match....and I can't understand why *anyone* would.

Interesting that that "Bra7i1" thing is exactly what Corinthians supporters do to "San7os" on the internet. We beat them 7-1 with a Tevez hat-trick in 2005. And I was in the stadium.

The worst thing about this match is that the teams already had to digest a big dissapointment, need to play one more game, and one of them will end their (semisuccesful) tournament on two losses.
