Which means Schweini's carreer is as good as over!
what are you talking about ?
-------------
he still has to do a medical and then sign the papers
but it seems to be in the bag
basically
it's a win-win-win-win-lose situation
for Schweini: he always wanted to play abroad, preferably at a top club that plays CL football ; he has won EVERYTHING and more than most players ever will; he's oldish for a footballer, slightly injury prone and being a star signing at ManU is better than being merely tolerated by Pep or indeed doing a Pirlo, Gerrard. Fatso in Amiland; even if Schweini does not win a single cup, who cares ? he will remain Germany's captain at the upcoming Euros no matter what
for ManU: they get a top player for what really is a pittance; no more Dutch best of rest bullshit, but the real deal and a SIGN to other stars that they are still in the game after the Fergie years; just as importantly, it's the FIRST real top German they get and WILL open the floodgates; top stars like Hummels, Goetze and even Mueller could all sign with ManU within the next two years; if they play their cards right, they could start a new ERA
for Bayern, Pep, Rummenigge: they already have a surplus of central midfield players now, and Pep has a massive crush on Thiago, Alonso and Lahm...; Pep would have been in a pickle, ditto Rummenigge who tries EVERYTHING in his power to please Pep and get a contract extension beyond 2016; relations between Pep and Schweini, Mueller and Goetze are said to be strained, so he will be a happy camper now
for German football: Bayern already are a big club, sure; and most top Germans end up at Bayern, BUT ManU have a different global audience, not least in Asia; if Schweini does impress and if more Germans join ManU, the EPL will start chasing more German Bundesliga players in general, making more now unknown Germans players "superstars"; downside, this could also lead to a Bundesliga exodus, we'll see
it's also a lose sitution for Bayern though: they lose a REAL Bavarian, a fan favourite and this WILL lead to more Bavarians like Mueller eventually leaving as well; the club will become even MORE international, read SPANISH, which no fan really cares about; and soon Pep will leave anyway; then again, who cares ? soon Hoeness will be back and reverse this trend by taking control from Dummenigge
overall, brilliant news, if it happens
