Shame its on the same time as England vs Macedonia. France should be favourites but the Scots have a great home record. Seems Gallas is starting the war of words already

    In France?

Also was that before World cup 2002? As I remember you beating them heavily and every one thinking you'd stroll the World cup.

Yeah they have improved recently, got much better results.
Surprising how well they are doing in this group.
Seems the team is finally balanced.
But i still think scotland will have too much for them. Very Happy

Scotland beat Lithuania and the Faroes and suddenly they're good? Their best players are Fletcher and McFadden FFS.

I wish the Scots well, but this reminds me a little of when we played them in WC 1978. The Scots felt 'superior' to us because they had beaten England prior to the start of the WC as if England meant anything to us. Now it appears to be the same thing, they have beaten some weak teams, and feel very good about themselves. France could do a Peru on them.

We crushed them Scots, and could've easily won by 6-1 or more. They were so demoralized, so soundly destroyed, they couldn't scored one goal against Iran in their next game. I believe the Iranians scored an own goal. The Scots then played well against the just-don't-lose-by-more-than-four-goals- very loose Dutch team. We won the group and progressed with Holland.

Be careful Scotland! France could do a Peru on your ass, and your whole house may crumble. <Ale>

The Scots have a good team. Not as good as the one in WC 1978 (they were awesome- tough they drew us and Holland). I'll be watching this game on Setanta. It promises to be a cracker.

What I'm trying to say is I hope they don't get demoralized like in 1978 in case they lose to France. Scotland seem to be turning the corner with their football team, but they're not there yet. <Ale>

I think a draw would be a good result for France. Scotland have improved a lot recently, France as well. It should be a very interesting game.
