I don't think this is as one sided as people make out. I thought Chelsea were as bad as Barca behaviour wise.

Carvalho kick, Lampard dive, Drogba acting...etc

Marquez deserved to get 2 red cards though.

    * I can't wait to see Carvalho try some of his shit on Darius Henderson !

..and by the way, Lampard's right about the ref's performance being bad - he should have given the fat cunt a 2nd booking for his disgraceful dive in the box and only played 5 mins 20 of the 6 mins stoppage time.

The TV replay was too late and on the wrong side to show why Lampard went over so you can't say it was a dive. What you want to believe isn't necessarily the truth. Why would he dive when the chance was so easy?

If you look at the height of the ball it wasn't that easy.

Our jingoistic commentators have a go at Drogba for making too much of a challenge that leaves his nose bleeding but the sun shines out of Frank's arse doesn't it ?

@ Freddie - you're right about Frank - he only looked at the keeper and the goal after he had taken the "shot".

The referee underestimated Drogba's injury as well! I'm quite a critic of Frank Lampard but I felt he had a good game today.

Not really - he had two or three moments of quality. He got a good assist for Gudjohnsen's goal..but in gerneral he was pretty quiet. Not great by any means.

The Carvalho kick was late in the game. A bit of retaliation for what had gone on before and against a player who well deserved it. For every alleged Chelsea 'dive' there were at least half a dozen Barcelona dives.

    Messi
    Lampard
    Drogba
Deco (I know I am going to get killed by you lot for saying it)

Very exciting match hampered by a crap referee that didn't allow the game to flow and handed out cards left, right and centre (especially to Chelsea players)

You can't expect his eyes to be everywhere and you all would have whined had he dished out red cards. Carvalho and Marquez will get their comeuppance yet.

People think he should be scoring goals and making chances every 2 minutes. It's ridiculous, if he creates two or three good chances in a game ( he did that today) then it's enough to win most matches. The expectation is out of control.

That's Pierre for you. I've always been a fan of Drogba. Chelsea always play better with him in the team. I've been critical of Lampard for some time byt he was excellent today and the claim that he dived is simply not proven or disproven by the video evidence. There were several players on both sides who were outstanding today.
