Don't get me wrong I'm not saying they are people who intent to harm players .. but 'if the case scenario is brought up' you can understand where they are coming from. Beer might have been thrown, but what happens if it wasn't beer?

Checks at the gates at Feyenoord are pretty rigid. Lazy journalism exists outside of the UK too, its just we never hear much about it- I'm betting the writer in Marca spent little time actually watching the game and then decided to fall upon the old cliche that all english sides "play it long".
No doubt Newcastle did play it longer than Celta, but thats because the Spanish side seemed to spend an awful lot of time passing it around there midfield and defence then losing it...!!

I remember at least three ocassions when the ball was hoofed down the middle for Sibierski to chase (?). A draw would have ben a fair result given that both teams didn't create any real chances.
And Milner was giving the fullback hell, he took on 4 players at one point!

Placente had him in his pocket in the first half. Luque on the left took advantage of Angel's poor positioning which was where most of the crosses were coming form. In the second half I'll give you it, he did start attacking him more and putting more crosses in. Was one of your chances the Parker miscontrol
