Bernd Hoffmann, chairman of HSV, seems to have lost it completely now. He is talking about working with Doll for the next 3 years (!), and not just 3 weeks. He says that in retrospect, all of the transfer decisions they made in the summer were comprehensible and correct (!). They may try to buy new players in the winter break, but they know that it will be difficult to attract good players while they are relegation candidates still (this actually makes sense...).

The statement just shows they still haven't realise the seriousness of the situation. It's a pity that Beiersdorfer and Hoffmann just can't admit the mistakes they've made and draw the conclusions from them, no, they rather see a founding member of the Bundesliga being relegated. Unbelieveable! Doh

But, and this is the most ridiculous statement, they still want to stick to their 'plan' to join the European top 20 in 5 years. Seriously, after this disastrous CL season, I hope that we won't see HSV in the CL again for the next 20 years, that was embarassing enough.

I wouldn't be too harsh with that, there are a lot of other teams, which haven't covered themselves with glory in European competitions either. But as we're probably losing another CL spot, it's anyhow very unlikely to see them play CL/UEFA Cup in the near or distant future.

The most important thing about the game
    DIESLER IS BACK.

I prefer posting in English because it is the common language of the board and everyone here can understand it , same would be the reason for everybody else IMO.

Before his injury, he wasn't really playing well, no. But he did ok in the match against Hamburg, better than Demichelis in the first half at least, although Hamburg were falling apart in the 2nd half anyway.

Naldo has been the best Brazlian defender in the Bundesliga this season though, by far that is. I seriously hope that Dunga gives him a chance in the Selecao soon.
