SEVILLA - REAL MADRID Empty SEVILLA - REAL MADRID

Post by Puro Sat Dec 09, 2006 9:54 pm

WOW! what a great game! Sevilla are getting robbed big time in their own house. Ramos' playing for free, should've been sent off already.

Sevilla should be winning already, but there's the ref robbing them making sure Real Madrid don't lose or that Sevilla's superiority is not shown in the scoreboard. The home crowd? They're yelling "ASI ASI ASI GANA EL MADRID" lol!

    What a joke!

It's an old ancient chant which means "That's how Real Madrid wins". Everyone knows how the refs favor Real Madrid, so many titles won under false pretense. Similar to that of Juventus in Serie A. In my opinion, even worse. Biggrin <Ale>

It basically summarizes the way Real Madrid wins their trophies in Spain, due to paid off refs, chicanery, biased decisions, what have you...

Sevilla are getting robbed in their own house, and everyone's watching. The TV commentators have no words to describe the ref. <Ale>

Still you have to give him credit..... back into the team and scoring, gone some way already to getting a regular place back.

The same reason why I left it, and also the ratio of Barcelona fans to Madridistas is a bit more balanced here Wink

Be prepared to get a bit of stick and lots of banter.. many of the English love to have a go at the Spanish teams.. but it is a good laugh.

"asi, asi, asi gana el madrid" is a traditional chant our fans say when we win.
Sevilla fans using it against us isn't something new, what did you expect them to cheer us ? lol
The team bus was attacked on the way to the stadium, pool balls thrown at the windows, bus driver was injured.

    Well done Biris.

If it isn't that clown Puro again with his stupid Madrid posts! Doh
I'm surprised his devoted brown noses haven't showed up on this thread to kiss his ass.

Yeah, nevermind the fact that Guti got hacked down over and over again, Sevilla's second goal resulted from a Navas dive, and Real Madrid had more clearcut chances to score. Sure, it's all down to Madrid buying the refs Whistle

On the other hand Salgado should have been off.. so I guess it balances out. In any case it wasn't exactly as if Emerson was a saint either. A fair result in my opinion, but I might be just a little bit biased (and I was actualy hoping for a draw).

a draw would have been fair and it could have gone either way.saldgo might should gone off allthough it was small. but what about the ronaldo vs navaro where he was the last man and he only got a yellow. but yet again guti was eaten by the other team. there is really nothing we can do because we need more of his type in the starting line up(gago) and first then will guti be allowed to do his thing.

I agree about the balance. Because of the Salgado case I would say it balanced out. But that's entirely different from all the crap Puro's posting, even comparing us to Juventus. Doh

But I disagree about the result. We went to Sevilla and created more chances than them in their own turf, something no other team has managed to do. On that basis I think we deserved a draw, even if Sevilla played their overall game better than us.

Yeah you are right.. When he is the only creative force in midifield it is relatively easy to foul him all the time. Players can take turn and thereby avoid cards as long as the fouls and too aggressive. I still cannot understand why we didn't put in a defensive midfielder against you to take care of him. A very very very dumb decision by Rijkaard.
