I'd rather finish top 4 than win the FA cup for this season anyway if you were to ask me at the start of the season. If Arsenal finish top 4 and win the cup then they've obviously had the better season but then Arsenal fans still think they're entitled to the title for some reason so would be disappointed with just top 4 .

The days of thinking 'entitled' to the title have long gone. We're just tired of not being capable of competing for it in the first place

Tough call this year!
Arsenal actually won something...but...4th place again. Liverpool on the other hand title contenders but fuck all in the end.

You'd have to say Arsenal now but:
A) if Arsenal were to get knocked out in the qualifiers of CL then you'd then say Liverpool.
B) in terms of our objectives we exceeded ours (to finish 4th), Arsenal have met theirs (to win a trophy).
Football is about winning trophies though and in the end Liverpool didn't do that. In context though, I'd have taken 4th over winning a cup and finishing outside the top 4 this season.

It's a by part of this season though:
Objective: qualify for CL football next season.
Has this been met yet? Not entirely.
