Re: Van Persie V Ronaldo
Both are great players! I find it hard to judge on whether Van Persie/Ronaldo is better or not . At the end of both careers we can probably make a comparisson which player was the better one....

Holland European Champions...

You would not get this reaction to any other team in Europe losing. 5 or 6 of the top 10/15 topics are all going at the same time, all having digs at United.

Because you lot are still in denial.
Any other fans would have the decency to show some grace in losing

I said well done Arsenal, I just think a draw would of been fair.

Re: Van Persie V Ronaldo
This is one of the key points, for me. I confess I held my nose and voted for Ronaldo (though as I've said before he's the one U*d player I like), given the current almost-completeness of his game and the fact that he's still the outstanding player of the English season so far – even if RVP gets as close to him as anyone else bar Drogba. I also love his complete heart and commitment, especially at international level; he clearly put Rooney to a test that the latter failed last summer, then showed England how it should be done with his magisterial penalty.
But we'll have to see how they continue to develop in the next couple of years. Robin is clearly even more special to me, especially right now! and as Rai said, that's almost with one foot; as I've said before, he'd be top 3-5 in the world were he two-footed, whereas it would still be possible for neutrals to keep him out of a top 20-odd as things stand...

I dunno, I haven't given it too much thought, what do you think? Certainly if we're talking forward players they'd all be in my team; obviously Essien and even Gilberto deserve consideration behind them...

Re: Van Persie V Ronaldo
I may put him in the top 6 (normally they put 6 players up in the category and pick one). He wouldn't be in contention to actually win it based on the games so far.
He'd still be behind Ronaldo, Scholes, Drogba and Essien.
Incidentally 4 players who all had average games at the weekend.

Robin is not as one-footed as messi or Adriano. True he needs to improve his right( he always stay behind after training to work on it btw) but he can use it when required to.

Lrd and waft are still in my cellar. Every night I force them to re-enact the final scene from Requiem for a Dream before we all sit and watch an episode of The Office, on vhs.
