Making that permanent, 500k. Not a very good player.

And yet he still managed to rape Steven Warnock on atleast 3 seperate occasions.

    Swansea win.

You should go in for Bent yourselves if you had the money.

He's not the best footballer, but he puts away about 50% of his chances.

Yakubu's missed about 3 sitters today, its ridiculous how often he misses.

Doubt they could afford him though, theres too much money in the EPL for Gibson to compete for those types of players anymore

Both better footballers, I'd argue they are better finishers.

That's in no way funny, as they are better players than Bent. Bent is just a finisher. He hasnt got half the ability that Viduka does, probably not even a quarter of the ability.

    Senderos has done well recently.

Part of the decision must be down to the fact that Liverpool don't have the fastest forward line and Senderos is more equiped to deal with Crouch than Djourou.

No defender is equipped to deal with Crouch.

Guarenteed at one stage tonight he'll perform a back-heel nutmeg on Senderos. He's done it to better players.

He just said Yak and Dukes are better...nothing about finishing. Bent isnt that much better than the Duke when it comes to finishing anyway he just doesnt get alot of chances as he's usually the one making them for the Yak.

I agree, just Bent is much more mobile and his finishing is probably on a par.

Either of them with Bent would be ace. One of them could provide the build up play, Bent could provide the finishing.

I agree. If Bellamy was starting then we would probably have been better off with Djourou because of his greater mobility. Senderos has been playing quite well lately though so deserves to keep his place.

Doubt you'll leave the pace in behind to let him play on the shoulder. I imagine that's why there's no Bellamy, as there's not likely to be a great deal of space to exploit. Atleast initially.

Crouch and Kuyt are a weird partnership. They'll both work the centrebacks but there's very little to suggest that they themselves have an actual understanding. It's more a case of them being effective and because they keep defenders occupied it gives Gerrard some space to work infront of the defence, Garcia too. Don't expect too much interplay between Kuyt and Crouch though. There's been little evidence of any thusfar.
