Typical Curbishley signing. Keep a quality player on the bench and bring in a hard worker who's been relegated at his past 2 clubs instead.

Hope he's no more than back-up.

Poor signing imo. Don't think hes that good, think you already have better at the club, and a million to much. But you never know

    Quashie? Damn.

Boa Morts made me thinks Curbs would play the West Ham way, but this shows his true colours, who's next, Kishishev?

Was he just speculating or is there actual evidence of West Ham making an offer?

There were rumours at the weekend that we are going to offload Ljungberg this January if we can.

Fuck sakes... Ljungberg? He wouldn't be bad for us if we don't get Mascherano. Atleast short term.

(yes, I'm aware they're entirely different players but we could use goals from midfield and it would mean we could keep Gerrard central)

Doubt if Ljungberg would really strengthen your squad, he was great a few years ago, but he is just a big name from the past these days imo. But I guess Curbs is getting desperate, so why not.

it was obvious it would be hard to get players
1)People rarely like to sell in January
    2) the position we are currently in

Lee Dixon hinting at a surprise signing for West H*m, a former Arsenal friend, Ray Parlour? Tony Adams? Ian Wright? Paul Merson?
There are a limitless number of washed up gunner's that would enjoy a last pay day playing for the old Irons.
