    @ Fey

I agree with you, how are Feyenoord going to replace Kuijt -- Charisteas (is not)

Cant Feyenoord get a pre-contract with a forward, or someone on loan?

Note: i am not concerned about Feyenoord all the time..

He, let not laugh to much at Feyenoord, we still haven't got a left back, and Cvetkov still hasn't left. Well, that's alarming!

Well apparently not, just a few minutes ago it was even on VI.nl that we were signing Vagner love. But i was sceptic about that, because i know we dont have money. But signing Harry that really came as a cold shower.

Ah well, we should just make the best out of it. At least our supporters are still quality.

    We love you too Harry...

Ajax sell striker Angelos Charisteas to... Feyenoord

Hours before the closing of the international transfer window, Feyenoord have landed Dirk Kuyt's successor. It is... Angelos Charisteas. The Greek striker joined Ajax in January 2005, on a deal until 30 June 2008, and had 45 official appearances for the Amsterdam club, in which he scored 15 goals. He will sign a three-year deal at De Kuip. The transfer fee is as yet unknown.

More: technical director Martin van Geel told newspaper Het Parool that Ajax are "very pleased indeed with the fee Feyenoord paid us."

Ajax decided that Angelos Charisteas was not the man for Ajax's future. The club landed Markus Rosenberg and later Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Once again, a tough start at a new club lies ahead for Charisteas, not only because he is (once again) the successor of a hugely popular superstar (Dirk Kuyt), but also because the first reaction from Feyenoord's most fanatical fans were rather hostile. The arrival of Charisteas even elicited a spontaneous fan protest at De Kuip yesterday evening and the chairman of the official Feyenoord Fanclub said: "The board promised us that there wouldn't be any panic buys, but what do they do? They buy the fourth striker of our 'friends' from Amsterdam." Also remarkable: the comprehensive news report on Feyenoord's official website manages to totally avoid the word 'Ajax' and does not mention where the club's new striker actually came from...

What else does Serginho Greene have to do to get a chance....

I'd take Heitinga along as a versatile squad player, but not as a starter.

He could be substituted to play RB, CD, RM and/or DM.

It's better for him to lay low at the moment : his chance will come.....remember what happened to Vlaar ?

After all the Leonardo stuff, Brands now sent Diba away from training....

Why doesn't any club rate Jasser Takak by the way ?

NAC are a mess, appoint Brandts?!

Takak has a very bad personality. Sparta wanted him and wanted him and he let Sparta wait and wait. And just before the deadline he choose NEC where he was a sub. I'm happy though, we got Obodai in return who is by far the better player.
