Saviolaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
great game by the rabbit today was involved in very good barca scored in the 2nd hafl today. great great game.
Saviooooooooooooolaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
now i'm not saying we should'nt sell in anymore. but we must give it a bit more thought. he his better than. guily and santiago easy.
marquez is still and half step behind from be ready for a good like this one.
just goods to show how important puyol is to our back line. it needs his leadership and his pace.
Olmo looks very very good prospected.

What a bloody mess.. one more friendly to go and we let in 4 goals, including a hattrick by a RIver reject.. .
Great.. hope this brings idiotic preseason tourrs to an end..

Re: FC Barcelona Thread 2006/2007
Saviola is better than Giuly, faster, more skillful and younger. But Giuly have experience which Saviola lacks. Still, i would not sell him this year, as he can prove to be valuable during the season.
I was just looking at Inter and the strikers that they have: Ibrahimovic, Crespo, Adriano, Cruz and Martins. That's 5!
Barca have only Eto'o as a real striker, and they are satisfied with that.

Re: FC Barcelona Thread 2006/2007
I would have liked to see another striker coming in.. but Gudjohnsen has shown he isnt all that bad. Still if Saviola isn't willing to back down from his insane wage structure then he has to move. We can't have a player on a fixed contract when everybody else has performance based ones.
In an ideal world I would like to keep him and then get rid off Ezquerro but that is not going to happen.

Yes I know.. but then we should have started at least 10-14 days earlier.. I can understand when Eto'o is bitching about sleeping 4 hours every night.

Well then you have a decent chance of being ready for the new season.. not like us, first title up for grabs in a week!!! And of all teams then it is Espanyol... we will never hear the end of it if they manage to snatch it from us..

We have to find ways to make money to keep the shirt clean. Or we could resort to pelotazos and dodgy stuff like that...
The shirt isnt clean, TV3 is paying you money for the sponsor on the sleeve.
That's only a small logo on the sleeve

Re: FC Barcelona Thread 2006/2007
I read somewhere that the the thing with Saviola wasn't just the wage issue but apparently Rijkaard believes he could stirr up the great atmosphere that he has created inside the team.(Proof that he really cares about this is that he actually allowed Maxi Lopez to stay when he asked to, since he didn't really need him...ahh when I think he was one of the first to touch the cup at the CL final ater the game it makes me lugh so hard...)
