if you can't give liverpool credit for that then you are a lost cause. there were plenty of flaws in the way we playewd but to basically mark messi and ronny entirely out of the game you have to make some sacrificies. benitez produces the goods in europe yet again

No i see it as more barca losing it than liverpool winning it. 1-1 was not that bad, but rikaard just made some horrible tactical decisions, and the commentators and everybody watching could see what was going to happen.
the first liverpool goal summed it up, horrible marking then a horrible mistake by valdes. they still had lots of chances messi should of scored at 1-0 a few good chances missed. saviola good chance ruined. then hit the post. if you think you made barca look average ok, but who made barca not make not bother to defend, valdes pick up a back pass rikaard lose the plot.
