GLENN Roeder is hopeful Charles N'Zogbia can make his long-awaited comeback in the Tyne-Tees derby with Middlesbrough on March 3.
The young Frenchman has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury at Chelsea back in December.
But the Magpies' boss is hoping to have his left-sided starlet available for selection again very soon.
N'Zogbia has been making good progress in training, and the manager said: "Charles picked up a nasty knee injury just before Christmas and he's needed a lot of rehabilitation.
"Sunday's game at Wigan may be too soon, but we hope to have him in contention for our match with Middlesbrough the following weekend."

I'm sure you're all as excited as me about this.
Can't wait to see him link up with Martins and Dyer.
