In my view the winners of 94, 95 and 96 (Milan, Ajax, Juve) are in a league of their own. I couldn't rank those three.

Defo, admittedly he has been very below his high standards for the past 2 season, as a result of age, he's lost his pace. But it's time for him to move on, but after we signed him from Vigo he really impressed a great tackler and excellent on the over lap, as far as prime goes from 2000-2003 surely was his prime, him and Figo on the Right side were a joy to watch. And hence the intrest from MU a few years ago, surely you must be having a laugh when talking about primes and having Gary Neville at RB..

real 2002

The Real Madrid side of 2002 shades this for me. It was a team full of wonderful individuals but yet it all functioned as a team. Unlike the Madrid sides of recent years.

Makelele complemented Zidane perfectly. Raul and Morientes were a brilliant partnership upfront. Roberto Carlos and Michael Salgado brought width to the team. And in Casillas they a brilliant goalkeeper.

The Ajax 1996 team and the Man Utd 1999 team are very close behind though. All brilliant sides.

Dotmund were class then though....

They had Kohler,Sammer,Moller,Chapuisait,Reuter,Zorc,Riedle etc...

I think Real 2002 would shade it yeah....followed by Milan 94

Sammer - What a defender he was.

Who can forget Lars Licken coming on as a sub and scoring with his first touch, a delicate chip past Peruzzi.

They had Paulo Sousa aswell....he was class at the time...I'd say Deisler has Dortmund in a fair position...

Haha, Lars Licken! I wish he was called that. Biggest upset ever. Our team that season was arguably the best ever in the CL, just didn't turn up.

I watched his final ever game against Feyenoord in the UEFA Cup final...the poor guy was sent off...

What a nasty way to end such a fantastic career...gotta feel for him...

Madrid 02 pisses all over Barca of last year. They were incredible.

Actually Milan deserved a win in Barca...Puyol fell over and Shevchenko (I think) had a goal disallowed because of it..

They were also lucky to get that win over Arsenal IMO..
