who is the best payed player in the EPL?

This may sound silly but do they get 140 grand a week after tax or before tax ?

Before I'm guessing.

Best payed players in spain get around 6m euros a season.
140 grand a week is somethng like 10m euros a season. Basicly Terry is getting payed almost double what Ronaldinho is getting.

Certainly before tax, because the tax band increases at 100k, and this is why 140 k is being branded about because any less and they would earn the same as someone earning roughly 80 - 90k a week, hence the jump between the two figures

Ronaldinho is the second ighest payed player in teh world after Beckham so i don't know how you work that one out

Infact on actual wages Ronaldinho earns more then Beckham i think he is on maybe 140k sterling + i read that's not including image rights

Yeah but the likes of Rooney, Rio, Ronaldo, Gerrard, Ballack, Sheva, Henry all earn more than Ronnie.

It's just a well known fact that EPL players get paid more.

Dinho has been at Barça for what ? 3 seasons ? In those 3 seasons he`s signed new contracts 3 times lol He loves the club.

You dont see my point, you shouldnt have to up his wages every year, especially if he loves the clubs and the city as much as he says he does. He sgined a 4-5 year deal when he came 3 years ago you dont need to uping his wages every year its stupid.

i got your point, i was just saying even if we gave him a raise it will benifit both him and the club. because if we give him thise raise the club will also earn something like ?85 mil at the end of him contract. according to reports

i don't think we should give him this extention though, we will be 35/36 when it expires and it will cause other players to ask for more money.
