It would be nice if Villa can string 4 or more passes together, this is just 1 way traffic with Arsenal.

What's that got to do with it?

Anti-Chelsea tripe, to counter your very obvious agenda here with Gerrard.

    Obispo wrote:
And I don't recall him doing that,

Watch again, he sticks both his arms out in disgust at the ref as he tumbles

I don't recall it. And like I said, most players will appeal for anything nowadays. If Gerrard was appealing then he was the only one. Bellamy had his head in his hands.

Obispo wrote:but everyone does that in hope anyways.

    Not really

    'Fraid so.

Obispo wrote: I just think you want Gerrard to get a bit of bad press for a change tongue

I just thought he was sh*t, yet he will still get a glowing report.

John Terry syndrome, that's called. But yes, he amongst many others, was poor. Why single him out - is it because he always gets the praise Lampard never gets (or deserves)? You clearly have issues with him.

dear god... dive??? proof of how ridiculous people can be right here...

enormously lucky to be a pen though.... not liverpool's day at all...so many great positions then a slip or a poor pass ruined it... sheffield did what was expected and ran their socks of... point is probably fair... on another day could have been a big enough win though... they only had one proper shot

1511: Plenty of sympathy from the home fans at Fratton Park as poor old Robbie Savage is left dazed by a collision with Benjamin Mwaruwari. The Blackburn midfielder is soon back on his feet though.

Blegh, so you chose to read that and not the ensuing debate that spans some 2-3 pages and can actually sit there and call me ridiculous. The irony.

Hardrada: Henry has been fairly quiet but it's early days.

Reading fall victim to a Premiership sucker-punch after a promising start as Yakubu swings in a cross from the left and England winger Stewart Downing volleys low into the far corner.

Because I'm just fed up of the whole "And Steven Gerrard inspires Liverpool and/or England with (this and that and the other)" when clearly others around him are playing just as well.

I'm kinda fed up with all the "Lampard is shit" tripe that so many people have adopted based on one World Cup. Yes, I have said before, Gerrard is a better player, but not that much better, yet all that ever happens now is Lampard-bashing, Gerrard-praising. I mean, did Gerrard even really have a better World Cup than Lampard? Goal wise yes, but performance wise? I'm not so sure.
