    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The Aachen goalie comes upfront for the last chance for Aachen after a corner, we intercept the ball, and Diego scores from 70-80m distance.

    GOAL OF THE YEAR!

Werder Bremen - Aachen 3:1 FT

What an AWESOME finish of the match. That was definitely goal of the year material, absolutely brilliant by Diego.

Thomas Schaaf is the real winner tonight. His subs turned the game AGAIN. However, we simply can't afford wasting chances like that, I seriously hope that this was a one-off. Our team played great (with the exception of not being clinical enough), a more than deserved win. Turning a match like that, although everything was against you, is what makes great teams.

Now I want to see how our competitors, Schalke in particular, will do. We are 1st in the league now. If Schalke loses or draws tomorrow, we will remain first.

It was similar to Alonso's goal earlier this year, but a longer distance actually. Awesome!

Bremen's ability to waste any given chance nearly cost them dearly. Anything less than a victory would have been a disaster for their title-run. Luckily, Schaaf had a golden hand with the subs. I already feared Schalke could gain a 5 point lead after this matchday.

I think I've mentioned before that Pardo's been vital for our team this season--in so far as that he perfectly filled the void left by the retirement of our captain and stabilised the rather young squad (i.e. brought in the necessary experience).

Also, one goal and five assists are a good track record, I should think.

Osorio... Hmmm... He's had his ups and downs--but overall, he's been a solid replacement for Andi Hinkel. Not spectacular, like Hinkel used to be (in his first two seasons), but a good defender nonetheless.

Schlaudraff was more or less non-existent, like Aachen's attack in general to be honest.

Tremendous goal. Getting the ball in the goal from that distance is a skill in itself. To get it to go in off the crossbar is even more difficult. Wink

    The commentator sounds excited!!!

Its funny Ottos reluctance to take to Diego. He said last month that he has devalued Klose's transfer value, because his style of play doesn't match his. Diego's transfer value must have quadrupled in the space of six months!!!

Even otto has to give up his anti-Diego agenda, it would be beyond ridiculous now. Klose and Diego are improving their understanding for each other with every match (it never was the big problem otto made out of it), they created about 7-8 chances for each other today. We just wasted too many chances, should have won the match much more clearly.

The commentator sounds excited indeed. That's quite unusual for German commentators, so he really must have been impressed / surprised. Very Happy

    Hope you'll enjoy it. Ale

Watching the highlights probably is a good start, usually, a lot of goals are scored every week. And since you are fan of one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world, you may discover some talent that could be lured to Milan, who knows?

(not our players though....) Very Happy

    Fixtures today:

    VfB Stuttgart - Bayern München
    Hertha BSC - Borussia Dortmund
Bayer Leverkusen - 1. FC Nürnberg
    VfL Wolfsburg - Arminia Bielefeld
    Eintracht Frankfurt - VfL Bochum
FC Schalke 04 - Energie Cottbus

Two goals scored in the match between Wolfsburg and Bielefeld already (1:1), Leverkusen scored against Nürnberg (1:0).

Match of day is most definitely the match between Stuttgart and Bayern for the CL spot. Leverkusen and Nürnberg battle for the UEFA Cup places, and for the championship, the match between Schalke and Cottbus is of utmost importance.
