Genius.
SAF - "Scholes' pass for Rooney's equaliser was fantastic, just a little flick but what a pass."

A great piece of improvisation from Scholes.
He really came into his own in the second half.

Great vision and great technique! Why doesn't Scholes still play for England?

Re: Scholes chip to Rooney
I'd say tactics and Sven forcing to play on the left.
Many would say he was playing badly for England and cared more about playing for Man United.

The England national team could do with Scholes' class, that's for sure.

Epitomises the way the national team simply doesnt seem to get the best out of its players.

3 years without an international goal. In the end, Sven dumped him out to LM.

Great flick, was awesome to watch.
Of course, if Kaka did that, it would have been a "defensive mistake"

So that wasn't the owners fault? A manager only spends what is given to him.

Re: Scholes chip to Rooney
Fair enough, but he spent £300m, only got 1 title, and made little headway in Europe. Mourinho is right - when you get that much backing, and achieve comparitively little, it needs questioning.
And he was a good manager - just never had any balls. A Total "Yes" man. Great up until WC 2002... but he was $hite after that. (Lampard)
