And if Inzaghi is untalented, so is Van Nistelrooy, who seems to get loads of plaudits for just being good at positioning and a tap-in king.

They made a substitition which took about 40 seconds and took a few really long throwings, then he blew up after 92.30 seconds, he should have played on till at least 94 minutes.

RVN at least has skill and technique, vision and can actually play football. Inzaghi is just awful, when Kaka crossed the ball for him and it went through his legs, I wasnt the slightest bit surprised.

I have been watching him since his Juve days in the 90s and everytime I saw him play, I was shocked that he played for such a good side. It used to be so funny watching Zidane and Del Pieros reactions when he messed up another opportunity.

Kas, I am probably going over the top, but I think he is one of the most loathsome footballs around.

I thought Pennant was bollocks aswell, he had so much space but did nothing with it.

He had a lot of the ball and the SS commentators were talking about how well he did, but quite frankly, he was bullshit. So much space, so little end product.

He can run quite fast though.

Zenden was equally poor , so was Gerrard , Kuyt did nothing really either , Alonso looked like he had a bad day.

you're right, he's Cr@p at football, he just scores goals! this has been known for a long time!

Best players - Nesta, Mascherano, Inzaghi.
Worst players - Carragher, Seedorf & Gerrard.

Everyone else was pretty average.

Liverpool's problem was that all their offensive players simply didn't turn up tonight imo. If they had done, they would probably have won, given how poor Milan played.

Kuyt worked hard, but didn't really create anything, Gerrard was poor, Pennant was poor, Zenden barely touched the ball.

Big credit for Masch though. I thought he was excellent

You'd love him if he played for your team; he wins a lot of free kicks and has the knack of scoring important goals. I used to love him when i was a Juve fan( because of Zidane), can be frustrating at times though by constantly standing offside.

makes the defeat even more painful

milan didn;t even have to do anything to win

wityh the domination we had we should have won comfortably but rarely looked like scoring

and when we did we took to long to make the right decision

plus gerrard missed a chance he would normally take with ease


but the key moment in the game was the luck they got for the first goal.

Look He and RVN do get so much stick!!! But they always score always and everywhere!!! And that's still an important part of the football imo

Exactly. And don't forget the crucial tackles he made throughout the match. Plus the loads of headers Milan had to win at the back, he won his fair share.
