We play all the local teams away from home....

    Dagenham & Redbridge
    Leyton Orient
    Southend United

We then have an away game against Norwich City, and will finish off with a home game against a top European team again. To be confirmed...

Where do you live Bluenine if you dont mind me asking ? We havnt announced any pre season games yet but wouldnt surprise me if we play Inter if they are doinga mini tour in England.

Inter Vs Barcelona is the CL final that never was mate Very Happy Its pretty crazy in some ways but flights can be cheap now and tickets over there are cheaper, i guess overall it would be similar to having a season ticket in England for a season.

Thats cool, you going to some of them ? we normally do the same thing with the likes of Bury, Rochdale etc then a big team at home in the Thomas Cook Trophy as its is called, Barce, Lazio and Olympiakos have all been defeated.

    As we like to sing:

Sunday 29th July. Two games as well

    14:00 Hamburg vs PSG
    16:15 Arsenal vs Inter

    Or alternatively the 28th July

    14:00 Inter vs Hamburg
    16:15 Arsenal vs PSG

Thing is I think they are offering the tickets to Arsenal members first, then they go on general sale. I only got a ticket because my friend is an Arsenal member.

i honestly don't know. as i say there hasn't been a friendly at villa park for years. i can't see it selling out though, so i'd have thought you'd be alright. don't know what the deal would be for away fans though, or if you'd just have to go with home fans.

might try and go myself, so if i find anything out i'll let you know

Thats exactly what I was thinking... it costs as low as £250 in the second tier settore rosso. 10 airline tickets booked sufficiently in advance will cost about £400. Assuming I blow up another £50 per game on hotel, beer, etc, it comes to about £120 per game.... not too bad a deal, considering its gonna be 10 Inter games at San Siro, and 10 nights in Milan. And this would include game against Milan, Juve, Fiorentina, Roma, and Lazio... and hopefully the scudetto winning party next summer Wink

Yeah that sounds good i with my season ticket i bet is spend £70/£80 a game so to go to watch Inter for the extra £50 a game isnt bad at all. I guess 10 games is what i will spend in a season over here without cup games and away days, plus you get better quality of football and a night out in Milan.

Amsterdam Tournament dumpte Newcastle voor Arsenal
    Pre-season Friendlies thread - Page 3 EditPre-season Friendlies thread - Page 3 Printje

    BRON: Newcastle United Mad

lol! Shows again what c**ts ajax are, Newcastle already agreed to play on the Amsterdam tournament, but as soon Ajax heard Arsenal were available they dropped them. Arsenal will now participate in the famous Amsterdam Tournament! Biggrin

They're more delighted to get the mighty yellows! I can't that that is our "big" game. We usually get a Premiership or European team of real quality eg: we have had Arsenal and Inter a few times in the last few years....

West Ham is a tad disappointing - sorry Deano. I suppose on par to when we had Mallorca a few years back although they did have Eto'o then.

No I will be delighted to see Tevez play and Mallorca were a much better team back then, copa del rey champions with Eto'o at the forefront. But in the past seasons we have had big European teams like Arsenal and Inter - you can obviously realise that West Ham isn't quite as attractive.
