Has no mentioned how ace my team squad was?

Ben Haim, Sidwell & Viduka all for free.

    Marvelous!

If Allardyce becomes Newcastle's coach, then here's hoping Solano gets the f@ck out of there right away. Apparently Boca Juniors want him back. Biggrin <Ale>

Why would he do that. Big Sam is an expert at getting the most from veteran players. Look at some of the names he revived at Bolton.

Didn't Sol respond to that by saying, "Maybe in 2008"? He's staying put. Very Happy ok

Dyer's on £60k a week and is not going to attract a bigger club than Newcastle.

You'd be lucky to get rid of him on a free ok

We missed our chance with Bridge last summer.

Heinze would be good, but people keep mentioning clubs like Juve who we can't compete against.

I'd be looking at Baines, Gardner, or, if Sam wants an old "past it" player, Roberto Carlos. cat ok

I think Baines has the potential to be a great left back but rumour has it he's on his way to Spurs.

Gardner would also be a great signing and very feasible if Allardyce is confimed.

Should be confirmed later today I'm guessing. Great news for Newcastle and good to get him in the position right at the start of summer.

I reckon with Allardyce, Newcastle should have a far better season next season, though be prepared to lose by four goals to utd Wink
