no need for sour grapes? if there was ever a proper time for sour grapes it is the day after your team has been whipped out of the cup having taken a 3 goal advantage into the second leg. I think it is a perfect time for sour grapes.

fair enough, Schuster has made a small team into sub-top in Spain. But today I am not so interested in Getafe. I am pissed off at my team, our coach, the cleaning lady, and the press agent. This looks like meltdown and the signs have been there all season.

impressive that getafe could do so well and shuster deserves praise because he motivated his team when they were 5-2 down to la liga/cl champions. and they did it by attacking which i like.the best about this result is that now calderon will be convinced with all the hype around this result that shuster is the man and not mourinho.

Big guy that Rijkaard. He won the CL with known WC players as Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Deco, Xavi etc. And he fluked his way to a win most of the time.

Then, we hear nobody talk about his hideous record before that.

Rijkaard is a man-manager, perfect for Barcelona. I understand your point of view Since1888, but when he initially joined us he did do a lot of work implementing the basic system you see now. It's the nuances and variation of tactics that he cannot do. That came from a good assistant manager like Ten Cate, and Neeskens has been pathetic in that respect.

I'm with toon h and other Barcelona fans in not really being that afraid if Schuster does join Madrid. He's a good young manager but I don't think he'll cope with the media and the fan pressure there. I'll gladly eat my hat if proven wrong next season (after last night's result it's almost certain he'll join Madrid).

Ten Cate has been a miss for Barcelona this season .. saying that he has done well as head coach of Ajax

in terms of success against our main rivals .. up there with van Gaal when he was coach , however he needs the results against everyone else .. hes a great number 2 , wants to prove himself as a great number 1 , I'd have him as no2 with van Basten / Rijkaard as head coach.

He has done well for Barcelona while a coach as Vloet (next year Ado den Haag ) would be sacked after one month because the press would get irritated by his ADHD moves and talks...
