Re: Chelsea Sign Pizzaro
I hope that Lampard rumour is him going to Inter or Juve. Better not be anywhere near Les Corts, Barcelona. (Montjuic is ok )

Just read some of the comments from the "fans" in the BBC. Some think he'll be a flop, some never heard of him.
There are several fans who believe Pizarro will be a huge hit in the EPL. I don't know what'll happen with him, but I know he'll give it his best. It's up to him and Mourinho.
I know this was a Mourinho signing all by himself, and I'm sure Jose will do his best to see Claudio Pizarro do a Cubillas at Porto. If Jose gets the best out of him, the sky's the limit.

Re: Chelsea Sign Pizzaro
Pizarro should adapt to the Prem well, something that Sheva (and to a much lesser extent Ballack) failed to do, because of his physique, good in the air etc.
During the African Cup Pizarro will be the main man for goals (unless Sheva's found his touch) so let's hope Pizarro won't be a flop

Not at all, Pizzaro gets out of Munchen who haven't even made the CL and Chelsea get a free player.
everybody's happy!

Re: Chelsea Sign Pizzaro
Pizarro's also low in the pecking order at Munich, in a sense he might as well be low in the pecking order at Chelsea.Rasiak-9 wrote:Dark Savante wrote:Sorry but stupid signing for both parties.

He's a good player though.

The signing would make sense if he was young but he'll never replace Drogba - he's 29 and Pizarro's 28.
IMO it's a backwards career step for Pizarro.
