morreti: has done well so doesnt fit
carboni: was great or at least good
de vaio: didnt think he was Cr@p but didnt deliver
fiore: the same as de vaio i think or maybe worse
    corradi: bad
tavano: never got a real chance

Samuel: was quite bad but towards the end he was doing better but in most eyes a flop
cannavaro: actually the same as samuel and whether or not he is a succes will prob be decided by if he leaves or not.
emerson*: even if he has improved the could of most of the seasons Cr@p performances hangs to much over him. and since he prob wont stay he will get labled a flop.
cassano: same as emerson but it has been his attitude that makes him a flop.

zambrotta: was bad untill around the start of the second half of the season. allthough i think he has kind of fallen back again.
    Thuram: pretty much the same.

i gues we can say that italians dont do well in spain but if some got/get more time it have been different.

didnt Zidane also take some time to settle in at Real?
that is true. he didnt deliver in the start and i remember being afraid that we had made a terrible buy but after some 6 months he sure as hell proved me wrong.

How about potential bad re-signings? We look set to keep Alan Smith?! It's like none of the management watched England V Brazil!

Or more shocking, none of the three years before that.

I'm still confused by Man Utd signing Nani AND Anderson - I get the feeling one may be a bit unhappy next summer.

Arsenal - Any midfielder that can't finish

Tim Vickery said Anderson may have to stay at Porto. It's not going to be easy to get his work permit.

Or Ronaldo, Rooney, Giggs and Scholes will get more rest next season.

    Games played this season:
    Rooney - 55
    Ronaldo - 53
    Scholes - 45
    Giggs - 44

I think one of Nani, Anderson or Rossi won't play for us next season.

Anderson back to Porto for a season if the permit doesn't work out.
Then if he stays either sell Rossi or Nani back to Sporting for a season.

No way we will keep all 3 when we already have Ronaldo, Rooney, Giggs, Park, Scholes, Carrick & Hargreaves.

Park might still be injured untill the new year, It will be:

    Rooney - Rossi
    Ronaldo - Nani
    Giggs(LM) - Nani
    Giggs(AMC) - Anderson
    Scholes(AMC) - Anderson
    Scholes(CM) - Carrick

    Backup

I would expect Rossi, Anderson and Nani to get a few games in the League Cup, maybe get to the final.
