Dont worry Sgoater, we will end up at the top 2 for sure <Ale>

Castelen is a decent player, but is really injury prone. He is yours foe lets say £3 million. Drenthe is just one of those amazing talents from the Feyenoord education. We will miss him for sure, but its like he is irreplaceble.

    Few things on yesterday's match.

Timmer (rating 8 ) - did very well, if he keeps like this he should start.

Lucius (3) - Poor overall, even set up Fat Frank for his goal. Until Greene or Tiendalli are back I rather have <cough> Danny Buys at right fullback.

Vlaar (5) - Poor build up (someone tell him not to play long balls), poor communication with Hofland, resulting in very faulty offside trap.

    Hofland (5) - see Vlaar

Bahia (7) - did very well, was an improvement.

    De Cler (7) - Solid.

Sahin (7) - Great skill, though I'm not certain if van Marwijk has put the midfielders in the right spot.

De Guzman (6) - Good assist.

Gio (6) - Will get better, just started.

Slory (7) - was dangerous if he had the opportunity.

Makaay (6) - For nutmegging Fat Frank, his penalties are a give away, better let someone else take it. Lacked service.

Drenthe (6.5) - Should play smarter & work on crossing, still a treat.

Think we should play midfield pointing backwards in stead of pointing forwards with Gio as DMF.

Van Marwijk will sort things out, before te league starts. Imo we are far stronger than last season. Far more depth in the squad (better bench).

Maybe we should loan a right fullback for half a season.

I only saw the first half and I though Slory was really bad. Likewise Vlaar and Lucius. The rest all seem decent but not spectacular.

Slory was suffering from bad service. Ball was played either too late to him and/or behind him. Was clearly visable in the stadium. Slory did OK with the opportunities presented (like RVN v Ivory Coast at WC2006, still don't get it why people thought he played poor, he didn't, the supply was Cr@p).

Our build up play was poor.

I hope for him it will be PSG. Monaco are a sad excuse for a football club. They shouldn't be part of the French league, because they have an unfair advantage (tax). They hardly have any fans either. Sad good players take the money and play for a few thousand 'fans'.

On a sidenote, I'm hoping that there won't be many pre-season injuries. Davids already out with a broken shin and there will be more to come.
My interest in the eredivisie is never constant, it fluctuates, that's why I need it to have a great start.

By the way yesterday a Dutch ref ended the TOP Oss - Petech Tikva friendly in the first half after 3 Israeli players had been sent off. Good he protected the players.

Its time for a couple of stones through the windows again, an some small death threats.

I mean we are getting fucked again, after we signed Makaay etc. We were promised for more players!!!!

Not long after that the management told we should sell a player to get another player....now Castelen is gone....they say we need to sell another player to get another transfer lol!

We'll go early tomorrow, hope we'll get a seat. By the way so happy with tram 23; nowadays it stops at the Vierambachtstraat, which is pretty much around the corner.

Really looking forward to the Liverpool game, especially Kuyt's return.

For Feyenoord the Player Pool is better than I thought, the club gets 75% or more of the profits if players are sold for a huge fee.

AZ are so childish. They should let him go, he is dying for a transfer.
