JDG, would I be right in saying Bruins>Diaby or is it too soon?

Hard to compare them, diffirent type of players. Bruins is more attacking, his best role is ACM/playmaker. In general I think Bruins is more talented than Diaby. Don't think Bruins is a Wenger player by the way. Will probalay go to Italy (he's half Italian).

It being an early kickoff on Boxing Day could be an advantage to Sparta. Our players might start poorly, they did that before.

Not surprising with a name like Luigi. So he's a VDV type player?

Maybe he can be Perrotta's eventual successor.

Bit like VDV. Luigi's not fast, but he easily goes past opponents because of his skill, bit taller than VDV & physically stronger. Vey skilled intelligent player. He's already worldclass at passing/setting up players, outside of the boot, inside, stabbed ball with counter-spin, he does them all. Needs to work on other areas of his game though.

Bruins is way more similiar then Riquelme, the way he holds the ball on his feet!! They could be twins Shocked

Allthough he has got the "look one way, pass it the other way" VDV does that as well!

Bruins will be better then VDV!

Yep far more similar to Riquelme. Luigi is better than VDV at 'giving the eyes', same goes for kowing where his teammates are (the ones he can't see), he must have some kind of sonar/radar.

Think Luigi & VDV are both extraordianry class.

His vision is amazing! Perhaps even better then his technique! Allthough we have to wait and see how he will be developing!

Loads of talents between 17-23 arent really getting better, like Affalay and Aisatti...and some just get worse..like Robben.

We can just hope for the best. Always nearly a lottery which talents make it. Have a gut feeling Luigi, like RVP is a man with a mission (he's very serious about footy too). Dedication (& little injuries) tend to be key.

BS hardly any Feyenoord fan considers Wijnaldum in the same league as De Guz & Bruins. Even on De Guz & bruins opinions differ a lot.

Ajax fans consider everyting in their kit a superstar it's always been like that.

Anyway everybody on 606 (& 99,9% of Holland) called me barking mad when I said RVP would become part of Arsenal's starting 11. Apart from him I've only given the worldclass talent label to De Guz & Bruins. I'll be right again.

Way too early to hype any of them.

Bruins has the technique and vision, but not the speed and character.

Wijnaldum has a lot of "lesser areas" in his game, but he's so incredibly young that it's hard to say what player he'll be in 2-3 years time.

Siem de Jong has (like Wijnaldum) played only a handful of games, he looks decent....but it's way too soon to pass judgement.

Van der Wiel so far has looked best to me, but so did Donk and Da Costa last year....we hardly see them play at all this year....

I did hype Donk last year, I hope I learned from it Wink

Feyenoord should demand the most severe punshment possible by the Dutch FA. This should never have been allowed to happen after what happened a few years ago to a.o. RVP.

Yep. It's the same with how the fans are treated by the local police. In Rotterdam, the police aim is to keep both sets of fans apart; In 020 they make sure we are surrounded by police (who beat up people for no reason wahtsoever, we already won a courtcase on that a few years ago), can't go nowhere, so we are sitting ducks for the locals to throw bottles, etc. at.
