Just seen that in another thread, but thanks. Personally would have gone for Krol as part of great team and knows African football which will be useful for next World Cup, unless part of devious plan to qualify through European methods of van Marwijk and then replace him with African based Krol. Are you that sneaky!

Guzzie should be sold next year, lets hope gay Chelsea pays a ridiculous amount again!

Another thing is Metgod should be kicked out...he is to long assistant there now..while I always have a feeling he has done f@ck all.
Greene and Bahia only do OK if everbody around them is playing OK. Yesterday both made plenty mistakes.

Yep best scenario would be Guz winning us the playoffs, leaving for a fortune & build a team around Bruins.

Don't care that much about Metgod. Would rather have an assistant with cojones, say Fraser (will never happen though)

Yeah, I was surprised how well Bahia played in the beginning of this season, but already though he was a "nice weather player" And Greene and Hofland are that as wel actually.

Now we dont want those, we need more De Clers!! For me the best Feyenoord player of the year, always gets his level even if the team plays well or not.

We wont see Fraser back in a while though, but his replacement, and my favourite feyenoord player of all time Jp van Gastel is doing really well with the kids.

So I wouldnt mind it at all if he would get a promotion.

@EMP Krol is a ajax mate, you wont see him here. .

Glad JP is doing so well. Sure he can teach the youngsters a lot. Was a very smart (& good) player. Could well be a very good assistant.

De Cler, Gio & Timmer are the only ones that get a 7+ for this season.

Depsite us not conceding that many goals I still think our defence sucks, defensively and when it comes to build up.

Don't know hwat happened to Sahin, but he's no way near the player he was early on this season. Landzaat, hasn't played the tiles of the roof yet, but is good enough to be part of a future league winning team.

We just need 2 strikers and a defence bar left fullback.

Yep. Think all our potential new managers will have made that observation too. All 3 are known for fit & physically strong teams. Hope they have some affordable ideas. Selling De Guzman makes sense because we've cover in that area & can use the cash to strengthen other areas.

Anyway think we will play more attacking next season.

Van Marwijk will be on Holland Sport on 3 in 15 minutes...

Krol as a manager is a complete nobody in Holland.

If he makes the staff of Oranje it'll be as an assistant (and that doesn't sound like a bad idea now that you mention it).

    rinmond.nl:

Kuip groter, meer geld voor Feyenoord
    4 maart 2008

Hope they sort out the awayend, pity we always have to leave some seats empty for 'risk-matches'.

    Debut goal sets Erasmus flying
    Posted: 2008-03-05 13:22

Supersport United striker Kermit Erasmus has thanked coach Gavin Hunt for showing confidence in his ability and says his Man of the Match award he received after the Absa Premiership match against Ajax Cape Town at Super Stadium yesterday will continue to motivate him to work harder.

Erasmus sparkled as Matsatsantsa beat the Urban Warriors 3-2 and crowned his superb performance with splendid goal in the first half that gave former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Hans Vonk no chance.

Speaking to KickOff.com after the game, Erasmus said the Man of the Match award was the cherry on top of the cake as his goal was his first since he started playing in the Premiership.

“I had played three games previously and was dying to score against Ajax. Before the game Gavin Hunt told me not to worry about scoring as he was happy with the way I had been working during matches.

“This goal is something that I will cherish forever and I want to thank the coach and my teammates for their support and encouragement both during training and games.

“I used to feel bad about missing chances, but they always backed me, saying that I should not will drop my head,” says the Port Elizabeth born star, who was loaned to Supersport this season from Dutch team, Feyenoord, stating that he is now confident of making it in Holland next season.

“Now that we have beaten Ajax, we have increased our chances of winning the league title and all the guys are highly motivated. I, too, will be happy to be part of the team’s success this season before returning to Holland next season.”

“With my game improving and with me getting more chances of playing at Supersport United, I am sure Feyenoord are following my progress and will be able to give me a chance to break into the first team next season. I am already looking forward to playing in Holland next season,” Erasmus added

Then again according to Rijnmond we have a deal with Jol! But then again they are always wrong somehow.

El Ahmadi is good BUT, I preffered Pranjic. And now with Engelaar gone Twente is utter shite. So it was mainly Engelaar who made the impact when they did so well.

So would I -prefer Pranjic, though I prefer him above nearly everybody. Great player. Engelaar would have been a good signing too, especially because he offers a lot physically & we really need a stronger squad. Think El Ahmadi & Engelaar are the 2 most influential players in the Twente squad, they need them both. Rate El Ahmadi higher than Sahin.

Anyway seems we have money... cheers

About Jol or Verbeek I think about the same. Could work, at least they both play more attacking than Bertje made us play recently. Verbeek could take Pranjic, Zuiverloon & Sulejmani with him...
