"We need a new back four - there's no doubt about that. The best defender we have in the side is Steven Taylor.* When he calms down he'll be a real asset."

Not good backing from a Newcastle legend is it?

*he sighed at the end of that sentence I'm guessing.

    Well he's right. ok

Newcastle do need a new back four - in the sense that they need two of the four players replacing - I don't think he means they need four entirely new players.

Solano will be good for another season

Talys is only 21 and with a bit more experience he should become a top class defender

    He also said.

"He has been brought up the right way and he's a decent lad who understands the value of playing for Newcastle United.

"And if we can get some players in and build a back four around him, we will have a chance of being successful."

"I like Steven Taylor. He remains me a lot of John Terry in that he enjoys a tackle.

"He scores the odd goal too and is learning all the time at Newcastle because they have to defend more than most sides.

"The lad is strong and looks older than his fellow Under-21 players. He'll do very well."

He had an absolute mare against Italy and has still got a hell of a lot of improving to do.

Physically he's quite weak so I don't know why people say he's strong.

Didn't he do it again vs. Man U about a year later?

Hands down one of the funniest things I've ever seen on a football pitch.
