    2155: Full-time Wigan 1-2 Manchester United
Wigan did not deserve to lose, but this was all about what it takes to be champions of the Premier League and Manchester United have provided a textbook performance in that regard. Never at their best, but they have done enough. They always seem to just do enough.

So Man Utd have dropped 2 points this year against clubs currently positioned from 9th to 20th with one game to go and the two points they dropped were on the first day of the season against Newcastle. They've also won every home game bar the Liverpool and that Newcastle game, how entertaining Sleep

With ronaldo gone it will be competitive again. He bails them out just as much as the refs do when they are in trouble.

Cry is clearly engineering his move. Fergie has to decide between Ronaldo making a further mockery of the club with a greater chance of more trophies next season or finally getting rid of the disgrace

I want to leave Anfield - Gerrard

Steven Gerrard has told Liverpool he wants to leave Anfield after turning down a new £100,000-a-week contract.

The 25-year-old captain made his move after Liverpool rejected a £32m bid from Premiership champions Chelsea.

"Steven has told us he will not accept our offer of an improved and extended contract because he wants to leave," a Liverpool club statement read.

Gerrard also issued a statement which said: "This has been the hardest decision I have ever had to make."

    Whistle

A few threats to his family and Gerrard stays.

    That's modern day EPL Football.

10 years ago Man Utd dropped points in 9 games against the top 8, 1 less than this year presuming you beat Arsenal. They also managed to drop points in 7 games against the bottom 12, 6 more than this year presuming you beat Hull. No team in the League had a won half there games away from home that season either, this season the top 5 have already won at least half of there games away from home.

What is it with Liverpool fans thinking you're only showing real support by posting on here whilst your game is on?!

Some people like to watch the game without their laptop attached to them you know. Or watch it somewhere else with other people. Neutral

Anyway, after last night I think Tevez deserves a starting place in the CL final. Not like he'll get muscled out by Barca's centre backs whoever they play.

An apt song (As horrible as it is to hear) which prawn sandwich gloryhunters sing as long as they win. A 70k stadium turned pindrop as soon as Torres, Gerrard and co. ridiculed United while Liverpool fans sang YNWA. Ale
