No Mata or Ba in the Chelsea 11. Mata with a virus, Ba just not preferred over Torres. This is a game Chelsea really have to win IMO or Rafa could be the first interim manager to get sacked before to season even ends.

Disappointing as generally we matched them. Gouffran going off injured made a big impact on our attacking play, Marveaux is good but he's not pacy. Gouffran is the new Bellamy, minus the unpleasantness. And for those complaining about Cabaye, Kyle Walker was the biggest clogger on the pitch today without a doubt, he was hacking Gouffran all game, and the one time he probably wasn't trying to hurt him Gouffran got stretchered off.
The first goal was embarrassing, Perch is only in the team to tackle and put himself in the way, yet he bottled it, even Jonas jumped, but Perch let it float 1 inch above his head. I honestly would've subbed him, I knew he shouldn't have started over Tiote. This is the problem with players like Perch they play 2/3 games and do an acceptable job, so everyone decides they are worth a place in the first team, but players like that WILL have a shitter at some point and cost you.

Nah, Cabaye is a disgusting tackler and easily the biggest shithouse on the pitch and in the league.

A bit of spat is a red and this is just a yellow? I hate that about the EPL. Deep dark red it was. As for the match, shame, lost to a one-man-team. As for Newcastle well Pardew is a numpty, I dont like Anita, but he is miles better then shitty Perch. Also why keep playing Tiote? That is no footballer.

Tiote looked good when he came on, hopefully his form will return now we're playing decent football.

Arsenal are winning through a Cazorla goal. It's been a scrappy game so far, mostly because Sunderland don't seem to have evolved beyond the tactics of 'see opposition player, kick opposition player' yet.

Mignolet is keeping Sunderland in it at the moment. We're playing pretty well and pushing for a second. We really could do with getting another because we have such a makeshift backline, it will surely get exposed if Sunderland put us under real pressure in the second half.

That was a brilliant performance!
Santi-Wilshere as good as Cesc-Hleb(2007/2008?
I think we should keep the shape of the team as it is at the moment, we'll get to see Jack and Santi combine up the pitch far more often than if they were both playing in a midfield 3. The only dilemma is who do u choose between Poldi and Giroud as the CF? Poldi is the better player IMO but Giroud's height is needed on set pieces.

Wow someone criticises a Newcastle player and Kimbo says someone on the other team was worse. Could never have seen that coming

It's only Swansea winning. Sunderland losing, Fulham and Stoke are drawing and WBA & WHam not playing yet. I think you still got a good chance of 7th

Wilshere off injured. I was focussing on the rugby so didn't see the incident, but it sounds like he was taken out off the ball. I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that he has been systematically targeted at times with some opponents regularly leaving a boot in on him. Sunderland really are trying to rough us up and the referee is letting them get away with it.
Jenkinson off for us. A game where we've been kicked to pieces and the ref ignores it, and then we're the team reduced to ten. Jenkinson deserved to go though, he made two clear yellow card fouls and should have learned from his escape earlier when he went in recklessly but missed the player. Can have no complaints about the decision, only the context of the match where Sunderland ought to be in more risk of evening up the numbers.

Even Niall Quinn couldn't understand why Walker wasn't getting pulled up.
I don't think we're a victim, I just feel that the referees decisions evened out in this game. Only pointing out 1 teams rough play is ridiculous. Anyway I don't mind a bit of roughness, as long as the referee is fair. When I complain about players like Fellaini it's because they dish it out but then fall over when someone goes near them to try and con a freekick, that I do not like. The game I grew up with and played as a kid had it's roughness, being a faggot was not a plus, and I don't want to watch a sport where that is the case.

Just finished watching Spurs v Newcastle on delay.
Excellent retribution for losing 2-1 at St James' Sports Arena on the opening day of the season, a game we didn't deserve to lose. Newcastle shot themselves in the foot second half today sitting on the 1-1 as first half I thought they were the marginally better team.
If refs were consistent, Cabaye should have been off for his tackle on Dembele. Not malicious however, so probably sendible.
Overall, poor performance by us, but digging out a win is good omen, given this time last season we were falling apart, and famous for our soft underbelly.
Lucky we have the Welsh Chimp

Also, Adebayor not back until Friday after being knocked out of ACN last Sunday. What a prick. We can't play with Dempsey playing number 9

Adebayor being an unprofessional prick, it's unheard of!
O'Neill and your dirty bunch of anti-football cloggers.
Got pretty nervous there at the end, we were hanging on a bit once we were down to 10 men, and we struggled a little throughout the second half with the injuries and kicks taking their strain. Always a pleasure to beat those tossers though.

We did well to hold on in the end
Sagna was outstanding at CB.
Shame about his height, could have been a better CB than he's at RB.

Speaking of cockneys, I see Arrys bunch got spanked by Swansea.
Adrian ballbag Durham and all the journos burrowed nose first into his anus must be wondering what the hell is going on, struggling with the excuses. I mean, it's not like he wasn't backed financially in the transfer window by Fernandes. Any wonder Levy pulled those pursestrings tight when he was at Spurs?
Swansea are some team too, about a fifth of QPRs wagebill and transfers.
