Out of all the Spurs signings only Eriksen seems to add something that SPurrrss was missing, and wasnt he the cheapest as well. Eredivisie always gets shafted, yet a shite club like Roma can ask whatever they want and other clubs meet that price.

he was awesome in preseason. But so was Lindgard, Aspas for Liverpool, Moses and Lukaku for Chelsea.

Shows how far Ashley Young has fallen down the pecking order, and what can be achieved if you don't slip it to the bosses daughter.

    BTW

LIVERPÖÖL TÖP ÖF THE LEAGUE cheers

    BÖÖ! BÖÖ!

Sunderland are hopeless without Steven Fletcher.

YO KIMBO! What do you think of Pardew's tactics now? Looks like he got it spot on.

Agree. Think Soldado will be useful in games that Spurs dominate. But ineffective in other games against the "big 6" and the better teams in the league away from home, as he will be too isolated.

Quite similar to Javier Hernadez in that respect.

Looked to me like we crumbled in the 2nd half again when the other team attacked, we ended up sitting deep and had to cling on. We have enough individual talent to stay up though.

    Could've had a hat-trick against Cardiff tbh.

He'll never be a great all-round player but he does do the simple things well, (assist against Chelsea, linked well in the 1st half) and the high pressing "vertical" system we employ minimises his weaknesses and keeps the team in contact with him.

I keep stressing, of our front 6 Dembélé is the only one from last season who was 1st choice, let us gel please.

I must have missed the ümlaut wankfest when Newcastle signed Loïc. Same when City signed Agüero. Or wasn't there one?
There was not a wankfest. How are Spurs fans reacting to Soldado? He looks quite shit.
It was a dig at the Özil umlaut wankers, not Newcastle. Keep up Dimmy.

Remy's quality doesn't surprise me at all, we chased him for ages under Arry. His proneness to injury the only black mark against him, keep him fit and linking with Barfa / Cabaye and you'll soon shoot up the table.

Soldado's movement has been great but still not finding him with the killer ball. Not a player who excels playing deep or with back to goal. Reserving judgement as did wonder how he would adapt to playing in the Premier league and currently still doing so, certainly going to take longer than Negredo though who seems more of a plug and play Spanish target man.

it's only Manverton who are failing hard. And they're only a penalty and an offside goal away from rejuvenation. It'd be a hard fought epic comeback that defines Champions.
