Berahino would be good given he and Kane are the Ant and Dec of the England youth teams, come through them together, definitely roasted a few females in the same hotel room. Suarez chap I have no idea about aside from the odd game on be in sports. YouTube suggests he likes a tackle. Maybe one of the more versed Spanish la liga chaps can comment.

Yeah I mean Mario is primarily a ball winner. I don't think he is as inept on the ball as wormsy suggests. He can pass the ball. Ok he's not Busquets accurate but who wants a midfielder who only plays 5 yard passes backwards anyway? You could probably do better but you could also do worse. I doubt he'll cost much.

Also, I was always for selling Rodwell and Barkley for big money because of their "potential", but it would be a huge blow to part away with Stones. He is already good and really looks like a top CB in the making. Not surprised Mourinho is for him and it will be very difficult to keep him at Goodison.

Following an agreement between Newcastle United and Anderlecht for the transfer of Chancel Mbemba, the player has been in Newcastle and has agreed personal terms with the Club and undergone his medical.

The documentation in relation to the Club's application for a Governing Body Endorsement (GBE), required in order for Mbemba to obtain a visa, was submitted to the FA on Wednesday morning (22nd July).

Unfortunately, the FA are unable to consider the Club's application until Thursday of next week (30th July). The FA advised the Club they were not able to convene a Panel any sooner.

More proof the FA are shit, we're balls deep in the transfer window and they can't look at a visa application for over a week after it's submitted.  This is what happens when you're not Man Utd.

But the big question is....how old is he???

There's nothing indicating he wants to move to London. He would be very interested in moving to higher ranked club though. And I don't mean here anomaly of last season Everton Premier League standings.

Afellay signed with Stoke City - not Konoplyanka or Shaqiri level, whom also were on their want list, but if he will somehow stay injury free he should be a quality signing.

Apparently Everton rejected second offer from Chelsea for Stones, this time it was 26m. And according to "Guardian" Manchester United is considering making an offer. Bidding war is what we need if we are really considering selling him.

For once player seems to be quite professional about the whole thing and keeps in shadow.

Yeah, I have no doubt it will happen sooner than later. I just like player's approach here, who keeps quiet and accordng to reports wants to go, but also doesn't think staying one more year ar Goodison Park would be some kind of catastrophy.

Pardew is an absolute nugget, one of their relegation rivals have barely done anything because they have a high wage bill and need to sell to buy, so he comes in and takes one of their highest earners and gives them a chunk of cash. It's a panic buy.

I agree with everything, just don't understand "panic buy" line. They already have Chamakh, Gayle, Murray and Bamford to lead a line, with very competent group of wingers. They could easily start a season with them and wait for a chance to get a proper player. Instead they are getting someone like Wickham...

Also, apparently Wickham was Crystal Palace target already under Pulis, so not sure what's the deal between chairman and Pardew here.

One more thing - I recently was looking at finances reports from Premier League clubs and was stunned how high Sunderland wages are. Usually they are around 8th place, so year after year they are underperforming heavily. For established Premier League teams Stoke and Swansea seem to be doing very well with wages to results ratio.
