COPA AMERICA - Page 14 Empty Re: COPA AMERICA

Post by Puro Sun Jul 17, 2011 4:08 pm

Biggrin All the Argies supporting Perú in Copa América after their heartbreaking PK loss to Uruguay.

Them Chileans supporting Colombia BIG TIME to KO us, and now their assholes are burning too. Biggrin

Mes Amis, I think the Sleeping Giant is definitely awake now, and just wait 'til we have the entire team available (Pizarro, Farfán, Ramírez, Zambrano, Guizasola...and a few of the youngbloods from Universitario who won Copa Libertadores U-20 along with a few from Alianza Lima), oh the possibilities... cheers

Obviously this is way too early, but I can now guarantee that WE WILL BE IN BRASIL 2014, and here's why: We haven't peaked yet, probably at 65%-70% of our potential.

Against Argentina: SHITE! we don't fear the Argies, even with their one goal handicap we'll take 4 pts.

Uruguay: They don't like to play us because our superior technique shows them up. 4pts from them.

Chile: They're shitting their pants, their "A" team needed an own goal from us to beat our "B" team plus three "C" players. We'll be out to annihilate them in qualifiers. We'll be gunning to take all 6pts.

    Paraguay: see Uruguay.

Colombia: They played to their full potential. We won the first half, they won the second half. In extra-time it was all about who wanted it the most. Put a fork on Colombia 'cause they're done! 6 pts.

Ecuador: Their starters looked second best against our ten-man "B" team last time we played them. Put a fork on Ecuador too! 6pts.

Venezuela: Plucky Venezuelans will not be easy to beat, historically we've destroyed them, but now they've progressed a lot. 4pts.

Bolivia: 4pts from them at a minimum.

FUCK! THE SLEEPING GIANT WILL BE UP AND RUNNING! THINGS BACK TO NORMAL!

You need extra time to beat Colombia and... there won't be any extra-time in the WC qualifying group

a lot more parity in international football these days.

Brazil has been poor, maicon had a average game after impressing in the earlier game, brazil have two world class rb, that struggles to produce constantly for them

And another poor penalty. Are there any non-Germans who can score from twelve yards these days?! Rolling Eyes

Third miss, but at least we've had one on target. They're getting closer!

    Finally a goal! Advantage Paraguay.

This is ridiculous, a third Brazilian miss, and again not even close to the target. The penalty spot does look a mess though.

Brazil are out! All four penalties missed! Three didn't even hit the target - that is shocking, even with a poor penalty spot.

Oh well, God knows I am no sore loser but the defeat to Holland, in the WC, was easier because they actually tried to play football. This Paraguay team is so defensive and shit, that its cruel that we go out in our best game.

But when Brazil started to lose goal after goal, I knew it it was not our day. I think this is a good team, but its very weak in the attack. Ganso (the invisible man) and Neymar didnt carry the team as we wanted, and Pato is just not a pure straker. He is in Mano's head but not in any other place. Shame we didnt take Damião or even that horse Hulk. Laughing

I do hope Uruguay wins this Copa America, it would be actually pretty lovely.
