After the Catania tragedy, Sports Minister Jaime Lissavetzky, announced an initiative against the racist ultras, supported by Villar Llona and others. Has this made any difference? Correct me if I am wrong, but were these the morons who racially abused Paolo Wanchope when he played for them? Fully understand why you would dislike them. How hopeful are you for next season? Would like to see Cadiz back in La Liga soon.

Regarding Hernandez, he had a contract with us and we loaned him to you. How on earth can another club just poach him. Surely his contract with us has to be bought out first, or you have to buy him in order to sell him. Does La Liga also have the rule that loan players cannot play against the club that owns them. Has he been loaned by us to Getafe? If so, if we don't want him back just yet, we must make sure he doesn't play against us.

Malaga have another ultra group which is "apolitic" and I beleive bigger than the frente, Malaka Hinchas, they have quite a few british members as well.

Yep they are the ones. Strange really as down south their doesn't tend to be quite as much racism perhaps because immigrants have come over from Morocco for years - but this group in Malaga are wankers - best chucked out of La Rosaleda the same way as the Boixos Noix were chucked out of the Camp Nou.

Next season for Cadiz? So hard to call really. What is sure is that we need a centre forward! We need goals! No longer can we rely on Jonaton Sesma from the wing or Lucas Lobos from midfield - as they are likely to leave next season. Our two main strikers this season have been Medina (a waste of time), De Paula (too old), Acuna (too young) so we need somebody....Tristan from Mallorca, Negredo from Castilla and Goitom from Ciudad Murcia have all been mentioned.

I think other than that the team has a good balance. Defensively since the installment of Jose Gonzalez - we have been solid - perhaps mainly down to our strength in defensive midfield. Fleurquin, Bezares and Miguel Garcia are all awesome at this level. There have been so many 0-0's or 0-1's at the Carranza though where we have created no end of chances against poor opposition and just need someone to stick the ball in the net! Sesma, Lobos and Pablo all off in the summer though - our three best players at present. 4.000 at the Carranza yesterday (smallest crowd for years) - representative of the fans disapproval right now - they want the board and manager out - I'm not so sure thats the solution.

As for Pablo - I think you called him back from the loan - released him to Getafe and have the option to buy him back cheap? Tbh, I have no idea, but he will be a Getafe player next season - and Valencia have the option to either call him back or get him cheap in the future!

Ahh okay. I know that it is usually the frente that cause all the trouble in Cadiz, and these are pretty racist also...they all need chucking out.

Is anything been done about racism and racist ultras graoups in Segunda Division or is all te focus on La Liga? Will try to check up on what has happened regarding Hernandez. Seems a bit odd. We loan him out to give him playing time and see if he can cut it. He looks the real deal and then we give him away to a rival ffs. Even if we can get him back cheap, why strengthen a rival?

Carlos Bellvis Llorens used to play for Valencia B. Anyone know anything about him? Rodrigues is still at Elche. He is listed as Douglas. I take it Douglas Freitas Cardozo Rodrigues
    is who you meant.

Ferrnando Nino is injured. Raul Martin also in late May. I think (my Spanish isn't great) but Pere Marti had an operation in early May.

Yeh that the one, "Douglas"! Ah thats Raul Martin - saw him play at Tenerife earlier in the season - tall centre forward - looked handy, not sure when he signed for them - must have been fairly recently. Not sure about the former Valencia man you mention.

I suppose managing racism issues goes hand in hand as far as the primera and segunda go as they are under the same governing body in the LFP.

You'll have to take some photos at the stadiums you can and post them on here mate. ok

Been watching a bit of the Castilla game on and off, and wow, they have played an amazing game against Murcia! The home side have and two shots and scored both times, 2-2 is very harsh on Castilla. Nieto and Negredo = Primera quality on this evidence.

Still....looks like Castilla are down....Alaves getting a second half goal against Valladolid would make it certain.

Ended 2-2, they really didn't deserve that! Still, Segunda B football is always better than tercera football eh cule Wink.

Doesn't look good for Murcia's prospects in la primera next season!

Almeria drew with Malaga! This really could have been a handy win for them considering that Valladolid look likely to drop points against Alaves.....3 points in the title race with two to go then.

    Table after tonights results....

    1 Valladolid 82
    2 Almería 77
    3 Murcia 75
    4 Ciudad M. 60
    5 Cádiz 59
    6 Xerez 57
    7 Numancia 57
    8 Albacete 57
    9 Castellón 56
    10 Salamanca 54
    11 Hércules 54
    12 Tenerife 54
    13 Sporting 53
    14 Elche 52
    15 Poli Ejido 52
    16 Málaga 51
    17 Las Palmas 51
    18 Alavés 49
    19 R. M. Castilla 45
    20 Ponferradina 40
    21 Lorca 37
    22 Vecindario 33

A winner for Valladolid puts them in complete control of the title and keeps hopes alive for Castilla! Two teams in this relegation fight.....the remaining fixtures...

    Alaves

    Lorca (a)
    Ponferradina (h)

    Castilla

    Almeria (h)
    Cadiz (a)

Certainly on paper you would still fancy Alaves to stay up, but on todays performance, Castilla will give both Almeria and Cadiz a run for their money.

He was good enough to be transfered to AC Milan once.

On the basis of that I hope they go down. Also on the basis of their fans, they have averaged about 4,000 this season compared with over 18 last season! Glory and seekers spring to mind, although perhaps the low number could be something to do with the fact that they have such an idiot at the helm.

So Ciudad Murcia got bought today! They will be moved to Granada and be known as Granada 74 Club de Fútbol SAD next season!!! Seems weird. So over the last 8 years since they were founded in 1999 they have progressively gathered a support base of around 2,000 in Murcia, which is slowly growing, attendances have risen from around 500/1000 a few years ago to 3,000 in many games, and now the football team moves!.....I pity those supporters, Granada must be a good 200km from Murcia.

I suppose it doesn't make it so bad that Ciudad are a reletively new club that were only formed eight years ago. If it was a tranditional club in the segunda like Sporting de Gijon or Real Valladolid, it would be much more contraversial. Great shame for Murcia itself though. It was a great possibility that in the future they could produce two primera clubs...attendances at the Murcia derby easily supassed 10,000 every time...a real rivalry had began, all to Granada now though, will be interesting to see the sort of squad they assemble for next season. It will be important to maintain the promotion challenge....

Worries me a bit that Cadiz could be bought for 10 million. Sad. Its beginning a trend similar to that we have seen in England....

Football works in circles. Former Ciudad Chief Executive Quique Pina is showing great interest in purchasing Cadiz. If he were to buy us then goalkeeper Jaime would join along with defenders Iván Amaya and Dani Fragoso, midefielders Gibanel, Luque, Falcón and Torrecilla whilst Saizer would join the attack. I have always been a big fan of Luque in particular, he is a fantastic player who has been unfortunate never to make it in the primera, Falcon is also very capable from what I have seen although is in a similar fold to Enrique, who is one of my favorite players - so that coyuld potentially put his future in doubt! And interesting time for Cadiz. As a fan I still maintain that we should not be sold!

Up and coming manager Jose Luis Oltra has been named the new boss of Tenerife after leaving Ciudad Murcia after all the change this week! He has done well at Ciudad this season - who look like they'll get fourth and took Levante up the previous season! I expect Tenerife to do well under his lead, would be great to see them put in a promotion challenge.
