the sqaure tactic is not as bad as portrayed. dont get me wrong luxa got wrong but it can used well. you just need the right blend in the centre to make it work. anyway i think shuster is going to play with a diamond. allthough the way he describes its more like a 4-1-3-2.

Luxemburgo got it wrong because with the 'magic square' the fullbacks provide the width. Should you have players like Cicinho and R. Carlos who have no sense of positioning you'll get done on the counter by the wide players every time.

VDV, because he is more talented, taller, and plays for our arch rival, so it really would hurt them losing their most important player.

Sneijder's only real advantage over VDV: less injury prone.

But if I were Schuster, and actually wanted to win something (like he does, the good German he is), I wouldn't overdo it with Dutchies in the squad. They always cause bad blood. Add another Dutchie so RVN doesn't feel so loneley, but that should be it!

also you need real Dms unlike gravesen. a mascherano would be perfect along with a gago for example. and the full backs can provide the width but they have to be more balanced since that tactic leads to trying to play through the middle which isnt possible without players that are gifted in terms of technique and passing.

Though i don't know what the hell is going on i'm just happy for once that Calderon has got his mouth shut for a while , looks as though they are trying to do things behind the scenes for once even though AS and Marca are doing everything to tell us every step and situation of the signings. True. I had the feeling that in the last few weeks SOMETHING was missing in the club. Now that you mention it I realize that it's been a while since Calderon said something stupid. I guess we've gotten so used to him saying stupid things that it's like rain in Manchester or something.

Laporta is now giving him some competition though with stupid comments like "Madrid are inflating the market" and "It's Saviola's fault we didn't win titles while he was here."

We paid more for Ramos when he was 19, and we didn't hear anything from Laporta. It's just that now that Barcelona lost the 7 titles they were supposed to win last season, he's trying to divert attention by crying about everything Real Madrid does.

Wow. I am shocked about an article I just read by El Loco Gatti. Even though he's been one of the number 1 Raul supporters for the last 3 years no matter how Cr@p he's played, he's saying that Schuster should ask Raul to get out of Madrid Shocked

¿Y Cassano? Siempre he defendido y defenderé al italiano.

    http://www.as.com/articulo/opinion/dasopiA00/20070717dasdaiopi_6/Tes/

Funnily enough, he also says that Cassano is our most talented player and that he should stay in the club Laugh

What scares me is that I actually agree with him. For once, I've agreed with everything he wrote in an article, though what he wrote was hardly rocket science.

He's worth no more than 5 million when you consider how Cr@p he is. You've opened the door for strikers like Heskey and Vagner Love to be sold for relatively astronomical prices. Cool
