We wont get Robben, for many reasons:

    1. Mourinho wants him
    2. Deal has taken way too long to be concluded
    3. Chelsea keep asking for more money
    4. Chelsea have a few injury problems so want all the players they can, for the new season.

In AS it was reported Quaresma knows he wll only be signed if the Robben deal falls through Laughing

That would be a good signing as he can play in midfield as well. Typical Madrid you sort out the defensive mid problem only to find another problem with your wide players

It is typical of us, lately. If we get Puerta and Quaresma I think we will be in decent shape.

    Definetley.

Pedja seems to have a Trial and Error aproach to the transfer market, he goes after someone fails then picks another mission. It doesn't appear as if they had planned things properly, the only consistant thing is the never ending chase of Kaka.

If he fails to sign Robben, and i think he will, he will be once again stranded and making desparate bids for other players, what kinda of back up is Quaresma, that is plain idiotic as far as i'm concerned, by the time they realise they have failed to sign Robben, they will probably be a week left to sign Quaresma, the only was he will sign Quaresma then is for whatever Porto wants, he can't negotiate(not that he can anyway) or anything. They should be trying to sign him Anyway.

Lucho Gonzales, Van Der Vaart, Nasri, Sneijder etc, what the f*ck are they trying to do. I can't even tell who they want there if any, and i think they don't even know who they want Doh

Like i said a few days ago, having played for Real Madrid or bieng a good player does not make you a good Sport Director.

Marcelo was good and I agree that he could be a good backup. He just needs to be a little less eagered sometimes. Like the play where he made a great move in which he kept the ball in the air with three touches and lobbed a PSV player. After that he had 3 PSV players on him. Instead of passing back, he tried to dribble all 3.

Are you guys nuts??!!! Torres should be a backup! You have to get a decent leftback if you want to compete.. Torres was owned by Messi in the game at the Camp Nou. He is way too inexperienced to be first choice.

I know him much more then you, so i was very surprised when i saw that move from RM last year, but i just said to myself, what a hell, maybe they know something that i dont.

It's not that idiotic if you play a very attacking 4-4-2 with wing backs, rather than full backs. It's risky and adventurous, but not exactly idiotic.

It would be idiotic to play Drenthe as LB in a 4-3-3 though.

Real Madrid are waiting for an offer to arrive for midfielder Emerson.

Both AC Milan and Inter have expressed interest in the unsettled Brazilian, but are yet to follow up enquiries with a firm bid.

Real sports chief Pedja Mijatovic wants £7 million for Emerson and the club's Italian agent, Enzo Bronzetti, regards Inter as being the only club capable of paying his fee and covering his high wages.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

Real Madrid have returned to the negotiating table for Feyenoord wing-back Royston Drenthe.

AS says Feyenoord are ready to rethink their £12 million asking price for Drenthe after Real pulled the plug on talks last week.

Real are willing to meet Drenthe's price-tag, but want to pay the fee over three years. Feyenoord supremo Peter Bosz is mulling over the proposal

    ---------------------------------------------------------

Roma have tabled a bid for Real Madrid wing-back Cicinho.

The Giallorossi have offered a flat £1 million to take Brazil international Cicinho on a season-long loan with the option of signing him permanently for a set £5 million fee.

Real's board are considering the proposal, with Cicinho's future likely to depend on their bid for Chelsea winger Arjen Robben.

I am dead serious, we need to sell Cicinho. The guy is useless as a midfielder, he is useless as a defender. The only thing he is good for is gallivanting up the field leaving gaping holes in defense. In Europe he needs to play in a back line of 5. We should sell him to Roma ASAP and Marcelo can follow him out the door as far as I'm concerned.
