I'm not sure Dyer is at his best in the centre. May do well though.

It maybe better use Parker and Noble in the middle, then 2 from 3 on the wings between Dyer, Ljunberg & Boa Morte. Boa Morte can play up front anyway.

It looks likely that we'll sign Gudjohnsen too...6 places for Dyer,Ljungberg,Parker,Noble,Boa Morte, Ashton, Bellamy, Gudjohnsen and Faubert when he comes back. Nice problem to have though

Not really...we've sold 8 players with another 2/3 leaving, and have signed 5 with another 2/3 in. It's about cutting down the squad size but adding decent players and getting rid of the ones we don't need.

£2m net spend so far...

You can hardly talk...you could currently field a team of 11 midfielders with 2 on the bench...

Last time I checked - we had seven 1st team midfielders.

Another positive signing (providing he isn't injured 80% of the time)

Although i don't think you're going to be too excited this season Deano, it will take a while for the players to settle and gel, and the performances will be tempermental, nevertheless the next season you will have had a season to bed the new players into the existing team, and you should see a solid outfit.
