The BBC had it as breaking news that he's agreed terms. Perhaps he's agreed terms but we need to sort a fee out. Sometimes club let the clubs speak to the player while they negotiate a fee. I wouldn't pay anymore than £5m for him though.

So why jump on to the back foot, instead of congratulating West Ham on signing a Newcastle reject for a nice sum of money?

Lets face it, whether its West Ham, Tottenham... whoever it appears very apparent he is leaving, so who does it matter that gets him.

If it is confirmed tomorrow morning your objections (its not been confirmed yet) seem pretty pointless.

I think Dyer will be a decent buy if he can stay fit but its anyones guess if he can, still your team is taking shape and looks good.

They just seem to be collecting players, with no real concern as to how to fit them in. The egos or "personalities" at the club would be a concern too.

Dyer was £6m apparently. I can't even see a place on our bench for Smith, i don't think it will be him, hopefully it will be Abdoulaye Faye or summit. Knowing Sam it could be a player that we haven't even heard linked though.

If it is Smith then next week Kimbo will be talking about how he is a great worker, and looked good in the pre season game and just needs a run of games to regain his great form of leeds
