It says West Ham have offered £4m but he wants more than that in comparison to the current market.
You can't blame him. How can Richardson be worth more then Dyer?

I didn't expect you to be defensive, i didn't think you were too bothered about him leaving...
Football Genius wrote:So why jump on to the back foot, instead of congratulating West Ham on signing a Newcastle reject for a nice sum of money?
Lets face it, whether its West Ham, Tottenham... whoever it appears very apparent he is leaving, so who does it matter that gets him.
If it is confirmed tomorrow morning your objections (its not been confirmed yet) seem pretty pointless.
Give him a break mate, he's a geordie, they tend to be a little slow on the up and up.Football Genius wrote:Not conclusive, but pretty logical, even your fellow magpies believe so.

Aren't 3 of them wingers though?
I didn't think Dyer was a winger? I thought he just could play there...
Anyway we still have Mark Noble to come in
I'm not sure Dyer is at his best in the centre. May do well though.
It maybe better use Parker and Noble in the middle, then 2 from 3 on the wings between Dyer, Ljunberg & Boa Morte. Boa Morte can play up front anyway.
It looks likely that we'll sign Gudjohnsen too...6 places for Dyer,Ljungberg,Parker,Noble,Boa Morte, Ashton, Bellamy, Gudjohnsen and Faubert when he comes back. Nice problem to have though

They just seem to be collecting players, with no real concern as to how to fit them in. The egos or "personalities" at the club would be a concern too.

With him not being on the bench for Man. Utd's friendly today, I have a feeling that's what it is...no idea what his role in the team will be. West Ham probably paid 5-6 million for Dyer, and that's going straight down the drain on Smith.
